| Quote: Khlav Kalash "Temp seating on the west stand?'"
I think John said West or North stand, not decided yet.
Weren't there proposals (or talk about) in the past, to put seats in front of the south stand; so that may be another option. I seem to recall Vastman talking about it in the past (may be wrong on that one )

Indeed. He actually said there would be some and it can't be East Stand while they are building.
So still deciding like you say.

Oh Klav, you haven’t subscribed, Nate it’s worth every penny. I mean it’s not Netflix presentation wise but loads of content and tons of matches to enjoy watching again.
Go on cough up

I don’t think I’ve ever definitely said anything, 20 years of this has made me far to wary for that.
But you could definitely put it there but you’d have to address the boxes above. You’d probably have to add some safety netting to protect people from anything dropping from the top tier.
For me the west terrace are between the covered bit and the main entrance would work. Move the TV to a temp platform on the East side.
Put the away fans in the covered part of the west terrace, home fans in the North.
Then as the season goes on bits of the new stand will become usable.
Probably be down to a capacity of as little as 5000 at times but that will cover most matches to be fair.
People will need to be understanding but it will be worth it.

Visible progress will appease most, and if the team is getting pumped I can take solace isn looking over the construction of the new stand.

The He I was referring to was JM not you.Sorry if that wasn't clear.
He said it couldn't be on East Stand while building but wasn't decided where best around the ground for temporary seating.

They will likely off, and yes we've been short changed, but it's been hard enough to get this cracking East Stand out of them, and it ain't built yet. Their ultimate contribution isn't probably too far away from a costing point of view for this upgrade to the shell of a stadium they had planned up at NM.

Well of course we've been short-changed but that happened ten years ago, time to move on.
To answer your question, the answer is NO, that will be it I'd have thought.
However, it's far easier to get people interested in investing in a half-done stadium than the pile rubble we currently have.
Partial victory snatched from the jaws of defeat is how I see it.

Agreed Vasty, this is one of those occasions when half a loaf is better than none. Let’s not forget, we also now own the Stadium and surrounding land, something that was lost to us when dear Old Ted did that secret deal with the Bank of Ireland. OK, I know we have to repay WMCD, for the loan to buy the ground, but it’s now ours to lose.
It’s still early days re the redevelopment, and after years of Shenanigans by various parties, it feels like a time I remember late 1950s when Trinity were becoming a force in RL, and I know the current economic climate is uncertain for a lot of clubs,, but I believe we can become a highly competitive club again with MC and JM in charge.

Doesn’t the SOS only call developments in if there are a number of complaints?
