When playing Cas he's not a player you fear or expect to do much more than the basics. Very lightweight. Can't really see it to be honest.

Springer is a French International isn't he, so would surely take up a quota spot.

The question I would ask, is he worth that quota spot, as I would play England, Huby, Fifita and Hirst in front of him.

My opinion FWIW is yes. Because he's a known quantity rather than a highlight DVD. Wether you rate him or not is as I say opinion but if you do he's not a gamble - most of us have seen him in the flesh at least half a dozen times - you can't say that for most NRL imports.

What you are suggesting is that Cas have palmed us off with some rubbish - really - so nobody knew Tansey's flaws as a player or Moore's criminality or Owens demons did they? Cas held a gun to our heads and told us to take these players. I can't stand Cas but you might as well go the whole hog and blame them for global warming!

It's been a mixed bag but all three of those players did their bit - Moore in particular on the field. Either way we should have known what they were, so either you're suggesting the club is staffed by stupid people who don't know whats happening in the wider world or people who are easily bullied - seriously?
