I fancy Salford to go down. It seems like half their team want away from Marwan, and not many seem to be heading that way, and it sure makes a move easier if you end up in a different division.

It's unimaginable that a Wembley finalist, a team with a sparkling new stadium and high tech pitch or a team with unlimited money could go down instead of lowly unworthy Wakefield Trinity but I just feel like we will do this and upset the rugby world again.
Salford is a massive game for us. It will really put pressure on.

This may sound daft, but I can see this game being the one that decides who stays up or goes down.
There seems to be a new belief within the Wakefield squad and hopefully Brian Smith can get them fired up. One win and we could be away.... Salford however seem to be a team in freefall. They seem shot to pieces, there are more rumours and counter rumours regarding finaces and player disharmony than there were coming out of Belle Vue, If they lose this, no doubt Dr K will throw the teddy out of the cot, and that may well be the straw that breaks the camels back, so to speak. Interesting times ahead methinks!

it isnt in the rfl's best interest for salford to go down, hence the appointment of child as ref. we have no chance in this game, but will be there to see child give it to salford!

No matter what, Salford must not be underestimated, on paper they have several world class players, for what ever reasons they have under performed this season, that said they now have a fantastic coach who I suspect will get them to perform. We shall see, don't think anyone will predict a Wakey win, will be interesting to see how many points start the bookies give us , I suspect it will be something like Wakey + 12 if they presume all players are fit. Once squads are announced depending on if Chase, Ali, Godinet, Smith Dobson etc etc are selected may well have an effect.

They in theory should be the easiest of the SL teams because they finished in 11th albeit with a few more points than us.
