Where are the Wakefield fans sitting at magic weekend?

Not being a Footballist I had no idea the MW was arranged for the same weekend as the FA Cup final until Hull City got there and issues arose of the clash of fixtures. Despite this I find it staggering that the RFL would have even arranged the MW on the same weekend as the FA Cup final in the first place, I presume they knew about it?

Why not. One of the weekends of rugby was always going to be on that day.

They'd be daft not to move it wouldn't they? Like it or not, football dwarfs RL in terms of reach and popularity, so why not defer to a massive event in the football calendar.

I agree that RL should market itself better, but sometimes it pays to know ones place in the pecking order.

I am going on Saturday and I rang the rfl to see if they were planning on changing the order of games - they aren't.

Is the 50% off offer still ongoing for season ticket holders? I've tried clicking the link on the Wildcats website then it seems to crash!

Is there any restrictions on the number of tickets you can buy?

I saw a tweet from the Wakefield account on about Tuesday mentioning that fans had "just over a week" until the season ticket offer expires. So, i'm guessing we'll have until midweek next week some time. I'm hoping the deadline is Thursday as that is payday for me.

The deadline is Tuesday midday. I may have to try and persuade the other half to make the purchase as I won't be able to afford!
