| Quote: kinleycat "Was stood behind him after Warrington scored, Morro came on and was talking to the players Smith wasn't listening, Morro shouted "timmy" to get his attention he continued paying no attention and just mooched about looking in the opposite direction to Morro and the rest of the players.
The player who should have gone up to that point in my view was John who offered less than nothing, but clearly his attitude had vexed off Morro sufficiently.'"
Fully agree regarding John total waste and this is leaving Smith trying to do everything and being exposed.

Keyboard warrior? Whatever. How about Wildie, Walshaw or Annekin to name 3. I've paid for my ticket and I'll have my say whether on this forum or on the terrace.

Yes, you are a keyboard warrior. Annakin or Walshaw?! Please, one is a loose forward or 2nd Rower and the other is a Centre/2nd Rower! Excellent like for like replacement arguement!!

Whatever any forum members say WTW won't get anybody with a better pedigree than Tim Smith. He has proven NRL quality and experience but like others say he is under pressure due to a pack not going consistently forward or winning the collision.
THE ONLY WAY WE WILL GET THE BEST OUT OF OUR PLAYERS IS TO SUPPORT THEM FULLY NOT PULL THEM APART. ITS A CONFIDENCE GAME & SMITH HAS SHOWN SOME REAL QUALITY AT TIMES DURING THE SEASON. HE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT HE IS BE WILLED ONTO PRODUCE INSPIRATION TO A STRUGGLING TEAM. TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER.....

| i know some people prob won't agree but if your pack isn't going forward then as a half back you are on a loser as you have no space or time to work and create plays, to me we can match in forwards for 40/60 mins at best then we are shot to pieces as we just arn't big enough in forwards, that said tim smith needs to take line on more as does johns to be fair too many sideways plays for my liking, but this is just my humble opinion

I think it is self explanatory really? His head was shot, he was 'gone'. The abuse he got from the sideline today was disgusting throughout the game. I think anyone would be a tad upset and not in the right place after that. That coupled with his mental illness and you a risking him going off the rails again.

| don't think ali was fit tbh, i would play him off bench as impact player as think he would do more damage when opposition are tireing, i don't think southern fit either or collis but what do i know !!

| It wasn't that's why I asked, I wasn't aware he had received any until his substitution.
It was certainly no justification for him to blank Morro, and ultimately the decision was then made quite rightly to sub him.
Up until that incedent I thought he had played ok, and he and the team were let down by Johns inability to take on the line, personally I would drop the pair of them for next week and Collis.

Not in your mind but like I said, knowing his condition, he was not on this 'planet'. You have to know the illness before you make statements like that.

Wasn't sure why Alli was starting before he got injured but for him to come back from injury and still start I find very strange. Why would you start somebody who has been an impact player throughout his career.

| Smith wasn't great butche was the best of the three half backs today. John is ineffective and Wood was the worst of the lot. Its go forward we need and our pack is not up to the job. Without that any half back in the world would struggle. Anybody putting all the blame at Smiths door is quite frankly clueless.

I may be in the minority but I for one hope we keep him next year and give a good pack to work with. All the ones who booed him today should hang their heads this is a complete no no and does not help at all especially when the whole team were pretty poor against a wire team missing a few first team players.
