I think 6000+ is quite realistic and I for one will be disappointed if we don't get that-Catalans are a top team and all the indications are that we are an improving team with a real chance of turning them over. What supporter wouldn't want to be there for that? There's the new stand to admire as well! Surely a few will come out of curiosity to see what should have been done years ago!

Got to say a big well done to the Wakefield club for the way they have improved their crowds over the last few seasons. I always judge teams attendances by how many they can pull in against the dragons or broncos and to get 7000+ is a great effort. It wasn't too long ago that saints could only manage 8/9000 against those teams and that was with a successful side to watch. As i don't know the ins and outs of your club i would be interested to know how you have achieved it, especially without the new stadium yet. Is it down to a lot of hard work in the community or are you just selling season tickets for virtually nothing like certain other yorkshire clubs?

We had a great offer of £100 for a season ticket and I believe the take up was just short of 4000 so thats another 3000+ paying customers on the gate. Big recruitment drive, good community set up and I believe the use of social media sites such as facebook andtwitter have helped.
