As I underdtood the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday was the only ratification.
Is there a link to any Council Minutes to confirm these agreemants to both Clubs have been ratified by the Council at an earlier date.'"
No and think this is why Wakefield have issued the press release! They were both given the money last year but it was always subject to continued ratification and if you look back through the old minutes, I am sure it will be there (but can't be bothered to trawl through them) and probably said (in light of the the meeting that has just happened) that the money is available to December 2010, end of the year, or whatever and has to be ratified again at this time.
I bet I can also guess when they want to ratify it again....

Why you asking me?
Have Cas formed an associated Trust yet?
If they have why haven't they used some of the money?
Is the Newmarket site going to get through the PI?
Is all TRB's hair going to fall out?
I don't know!
All future questions to be addressed to Sir Rodney and Richard Wright!

So you are saying that you know that Wakfield Council have given £2million (or part of) both to the Trust and Tigers last year

What have I just said... stopping asking me the questions!
I know that Wakefield Council have offered the opportunity for both clubs to access exactly the same amount of funding since 2009, subject to continued ratification, which happened again on Tuesday (probably to be reviewed again in July... don't know that bit, just a wild guess!!!) The legal situation means that in order to access the money an not be in breech of state aid regulations that both clubs need to form and take the money (or whatever they want to use now) into a Trust. Wakefield have a Trust (as is well know) but I have no idea whether Castleford do or do have one but I understand that either way they have not used any of this money... but they need a Trust to do it, if they are going to!

From what I can gather, Castleford do have a community trust similar to the Wakefield Wildcats Community Trust - see rlhererl (if the link takes you directly to the page). However, this trust is does not appear to be an independent trust in the sense that the Wakefield Community Trust (as opposed to the Wakefield Wildcats Community Trust) is.
The question is, do Cas have a community trust similar to the Wakefield Community Trust, and if not, is the Cas community trust affiliated to the club allowed to accept this council land loan to raise money towards the cost of the stadium? If the trust cannot legally act in this way and the land loan is going directly to Cas, well.... there may be problems.

They have given the date when the funding will be reviewed again, it is either june or july next year and funding will only be available to both clubs as long as both clubs are still in SL. I dont know how to put the link on but it is on the official cas tigers web site.

Castleford's trust was set up a few years back iirc and includes Castleford Tigers, Waystone and WMDC.
I think that's correct, I seem to remember something like that being set up.

In answer to that all i could say is you would have to ask Richard Wright, I would imagine the trust is suitable to accept the funding but I am not in a position to say for sure.

I wouldn't imagine it wouldn't be suitable to be honest, or Wakefield would have done the same and not set up the 'Stadium Trust' , but Gazemous could right in that another one already does exist that Cas can use.
Ask Richard Wright... you are catching on Tigerman10!

If you email him he always answere you, the only problem is if you repeat anything he puts in his reply on pages like this nobody believes you anyway. it's a bit of a no win situation
