Let a small minority of Cas fans post what they want. So far they've only shown themselves up and wasted their own energy and time which would be better served focusing on GH.

Today, looks to have been another positive one, in that the objectors in general had little factual evidence to present and let their emotions get the better of them. Fingers crossed!

Surely WMDC will have carried out due diligence checks on Yorkcourt prior to entering into the scheme.
Also, LCC will have checked their background. They have "fine toothed" every other aspect of the development.

Mr Cubbage's stunt was shown for what it was, yet another Fender orchestration to "pull a quick one".
It was kept hidden until the last minute in order to prevent Yorkcourt being able to have time to actively prepare a response, although due to the libelous nature of some of the content I doubt they would have been drawn on a number of issues.

Like EVERY other objector he hadn't read key documents & looked rather foolish when asked.

Mrs Fender may as well have brought the noose she made for herself last October, while I thought Mr Cubbage's statement was libelous Mrs Fenders was something else. While she was giving her statement she did enough harm to her own position with an ill informed & poorly put together statement or as she called it "report".
The barristers of Yorkcourt again would not be drawn on this & for that I applaud them. The Wakefield council barrister gave her both barrels. He started by shuffling back to the beginning of his notes from her statement & replied with an ever so slight smile on his face "just a couple of points Mrs Fender". He then proceeded to knock her from pillar to post. To end off the rout two pro citizens showed her conservation group up for what it is. Fake, just like her other FIVE faux groups. WCCG have no other conservation projects of concern at the moment, no previous projects & nothing they plan to do in the future.

There are still areas of the 106 to be agreed, but some of these work in our favor. The stadium full permission has to be submitted with 4 months, which fits with our time frame.

I had to leave just as it was getting exiting. Sounds like some of the accusations were dynamite but how much weight will they have with the inspector.

Mr Cubbage- Might not even be considered, the "ambush" nature of this stunt didn't follow protocol, ironic as another "Fender move" was to accuse Wakefield council of doing just that in the consultation & planning stages? The Inspector said he wasn't one for "dismissing" evidence but wasn't happy about the nature of the statement or the way it was put across. This was clearly a move to ambush Yorkcourt & Wakefield council & provoke an emotive response, thing is it clearly backfired. The only emotion on display was from the Inspector & that was one of frustration, all of Mr Cubbage's statement was null & void when asked "Have you seen the new financial plan Mr Cubbage?". To which he had to reply "No sir".

All in all I wouldn't give it too much thought, Fender & Cubbage made themselves look foolish before Yorkcourt or Wakefield barristers got started & did more harm than good to their own campaigns.

With regard to Cubbage, I've been "thinking" of buying a house for a few years, it doesn't mean that I will.

something else I also learned today is that there seems quite a few old men with limps hanging around on Newmarket watching birds.

Maybe some of these well informed peeps should try attending the hearing and then they can hear/see the evidence first hand, sad/deluded and ignorant are three words I feel are apt
