Anyhow back to today, Great win which I never expected. I is hard to believe that some of the guys out there had improved so much. Proctor looked a different bloke, Battye put a huge shift in, Smith looked more like the bloke I watched on boxing Day. But without doubt the reason for all this is Big Dave, he has brought a new sense of purpose to the squad.

Onwards and upwards

What a great day to be alive. Chuffed to bits that so many of the Trinity Faithful turned up to witness and enjoy that.

The game was amazing. So many credits to the team. Ok. Leeds cocked up several chances but you play what’s in front of you. Hopefully we can build on the new partnerships. Smith and Dagger. Hoodathunkedit.
Eddie Battye was superb. Proctor actually got stuck in.
Some players now need to earn a recall.

2 weeks off now, let's hope some of the injured players are back for HKR. Also they come back with the desire and enthusiasm shown by all those guys today.

Well done to the players, the supporters that kept the faith, the supporters who didn't (myself included) and most importantly
well done to Mark Appleyard who must sleep a little easier this evening!
They have given us a tiny glimmer of hope, only a tiny bit but it's a lot more than we had at 2.59pm this afternoon.

They all got stuck in, can't fault any of them. Dagger and Smith made a surprising good partnership.

Highlight for me, Eddie waving his umbrella around after we forced a Leeds error.

Great effort all round, that was one hell of shift they put in with 12 men and they fully deserved it. Seeing Leeds not able to do anything right whatsoever was also very amusing! The battle for survival is up and running, onwards & upwards.

Well done guys but do not get carried away , you were only playing Leeds and you probably need to win another 6 games to stay up and you do not play us 6 more times

80 minutes of grit and determination won us that game. Yeah, we could (and should) have been 4 tries down at half time but the guys just kept turning up for each other - all 17 of them




On paper Leeds had the much better squad but we just out-enthused them over the 80 minutes and I honestly didn't even see Bentley until he got subbed and it was announced over the tannoy

Hood should be no were near the team again this season,,Hope the coach as learnt is lesson about playing old men instead of youth Most of the old men out of team to day and it showed. Good movement of ball, getting across the park faster to cover in defence.Put a bit of pride back into the club Procter looked a different player playing at Prop and .put a good shift in Just hope we keep the faith in youth but do not think we will

Wire fan here...after our awful last season's performance I have plenty of sympathy for you guys. Massive well done on the win, even if it was only Leeds (lol), let's hope the monkey is now off your backs and it's the first of many - Good Luck for the rest of the season!
