Got mine this morning, good few in the shop getting there season tickets.The women in the shop would not tell me how many we had sold, she said she did not want to get my hopes up, just in case we did not make 2500. But she did say we are getting there.

Can't agree there; social media is the most powerful medium for marketing that currently exists; it does have to be done properly though, avoiding some of the early faux pas', like the senior team passing boozy anecdotes or making quips about interbreeding in Cas.
Agree about the countdown though; that would have been a useful way to get people to feel 'bought in.'
Overall, I believe they'll do it, but I'm disappointed at the way it's been marketed; there didn't seem to be a particularly cohesive strategy and it felt a bit rushed. |

I think the best thing the club could do is honour however many tickets are bought at £100 before the end of September and then charge the standard prices after that if they don't reach the 2,500 target.
Then if the offer is repeated next year, those who didn't purchase at the reduced rate may make the effort to get them sooner meaning more money in to the club earlier in the close season to help budget for the next season.

I get that bit but AG and JE tweeting about possible signings and the like is very tacky, its cheap. |
