The freedoms were won from the far right fascists were they not. We were also assisted by Russia who actually suffered more than any of the allies under the far right regime.

Firstly, you should be very proud of your previous generations Dunkirk and BLM. They are what made Britain a great country.
They were fighting tyranny and persecution and in WW2 especially an enemy who tried to eradicate millions of people just because of the colour of their skin or hair or where their ancestors were born.
Black Lives Matter is trying to point out similar issues.
The people swinging on statues and the cenotaph are not those people. To me (and of course I don't know for sure) they are criminals using a cause to create chaos and trouble for the sake of it. I hope they are treated severely in the courts for both the criminal damage and actually taking the focus off a really important protest.

Now you are turning this into a numbers debate. The Jews might object to your comments about numbers of deaths. The Russians too, Stalin killed more of his people than the Germans did. Yes they were the far right then, now it’s the far left. The pendulum has swung the other way. Remember, if it looks like a duck etc.

Quote: Dunkirk Spirit "I cannot speak for Little Wayne, but I the grandson and son of 2 men who fought in WW1 and WW2. My grandad was wounded by Gas in 1917, survived that and was demobbed Feb 1919. My Dad was recalled to the colours Sept 1939, sent to France Christmas Day 1939, involved in the rearguard action with the RA anti tank reg of the Dunkirk retreat. Shot in the leg, saw horrific sights of German bombing and machine gunfire on civilians and troops by Stukas, spent days on the beach under artillery fire and dive bombers, getting into the small boat only to end up being blown back into the sea. People such as those, ensured you and all your politically correct Lefties are able to endanger the freedom they and so many others in the day fought to preserve.
You have your opinions, I have mine, and like those gone before me, I’ll do all I can to voice my opinions.'"

Apart from both being of similar age and watching Trin for a life time, it would seem we have another thing in common, my grandad served in the great war and after that came home and had an illustrious career(being a bit sarcastic here) with the coal board at the sharp end at Hartley bank and then Walton, me dad bless him was in the paratroopers in the second world war came back unscathed despite Hitlers best attempts only to get knocked down by a West Riding bus in Kirkgate, I was only 5 at the time so I've only ever had photos to remember him by, stick to your guns old boy and don't let these with an obvious agenda get you down.

Oh and I might just add fwiw, me mum had to bring me up on her own with a bit of help from me gran and grandad and I'm sure that somewhere in her heart she was grateful to Baden Powell and his team what helped me through life with firstly the cubs and then the scouts on Lawfield Lane, a lot of values learned there which undoubtedly helped through life, maybe with the same experience some on here wouldn't be as quick to criticise.

The only “freedom” the “politically correct” lefties are endangering is the freedom to spread hate speech and discrimination - how is this a bad thing.

I don’t condone looting or violent protests - and those responsible are more than likely right wingers taking advantage than left wingers “going too far”.

Don't get involved in politics personally, they're all the same just a different coloured rosette, if that's your take on politics you'd do well to do the same icon_rolleyes.gif

As I’ve said to you, numerous times on this thread, you’re entitled to your opinions, as I am, but no matter how many times you say the same thing, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. Mainstream news has proved how the truth can be manipulated. Some of the stuff they come out with, they must have the Joseph Goebbels handbook.

You need to start studying world History before making comments like that. The media have brainwashed you to think one way. Open some books to help get a more balanced view. Otherwise you will start heading down a slippery slope of no return.

Quote: wrencat1873 "Thanks for the links to the "leaked" German reports.
As you will appreciate, it's going to take some time to translate and read the thing

You still dont wish to explain the excess deaths in the UK though ? and the spike that you mention surely is included in the 5 year average, therefore meaning that thing as are even worse than the figures being portrayed.

I'm ok with the conspiracy stuff and good on ya for sharing it with us and there is little argument that "lockdown" will indeed had severe consequences in various different directions.
The list of negative impact is long and far reaching and the full effects may not be known for many, many years.

Back to the fundamental question.

Why on earth would any government put themselves at risk of deselection as part of a "scam" ?

There are far clever people than you or I that will be top of any valid counter claim against the virus.'"

Sorry to butt in during the race debate but I need to respond to a couple of question put to me by Wrencat1873.

Why on earth would any government put themselves at risk of de selection as part of a "scam" ?

Well, the Tories are 5 years away from an election and so many people have short memories what they do now won't be worth a damn (austerity measures anyone?). Tory and Labour are both sides of the same coin anyway so who gives a hoot about de-selection.
Politicians go through what is known as the “revolving door” They flit from corporations to politics and back again.

Lets face it, WE HAVE THE BEST GOVERNMENT THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY CAN BUY.

Worry about de-selection? They never did and never will.

As for the rest of the world.
Those counties that you may see as independent are actually anything but. The vast majority are bankrupt, by this I mean they are up to their eyeballs in debt (including the US and UK) and wholly beholden to the BIG BANKS, the IMF, Corporations, chuck in the WHO, UN, NATO et. The Americans have 800 military bases around the world and are stationed in most countries of the world. Now I'm not saying the American military are behind this Scamdemic but you get the picture re the independence of all these countries. Take Greece, the Big banks said “jump” and the Greeks said “how high”

Every country Leader is following the Exact SAME SCRIPT. No Leader will willingly allow the Destruction of their Economy unless they all are OBEYING the Same Master they all serve.

I personalty find stranger that nearly all countries are working to the same script than NOT working to the script.

Why would they pull the plug on the economy you may ask.
Back in the 70s we had the lot, fishing, steelworks, the mines, Wakefield had Greens, Sutcliffe Molded Rubber, FSW, Bradley and Craven, Slazengers, Readicut, Empire Stores,...the list goes on. The we lost the high street, Woolworths, BHS, Maplins, Toys R us, most if not all the independent shoe and clothing stores. Pubs ?? Pubs galore have gone along with Libraries, post offices, bus routs, etc. I am old enough to remember when you could walk out of one job and straight into another.

The plug has already been pulled on the economy, what is happening now on the back of this Scamdemic is surely the final push from the so called elites. The big media, Billionaire Bill Gates, the banks, the corporations etc they all know a new economic order is needed due to the coming predicted collapse and all because they were allowed to carry on as they were before the 2008 crash. and us minnows are standing in their way. The just need an excuse to pull that plug, introduce vaccines with track and trace technology, link it to our smartphones and the 5G network and they can then live free from fear from the likes you and I.
Oh, and Bill Gates, just like he did with his flawed Windows operating system, will pick up billions more dollars with his equally flawed vaccines.
Crazy yes? That his operating system was full of viruses he never could protect against yet he is the man the world is turning to to produce a vaccine against real life viruses.

YOU COULD NOT MAKE IT UP.

Wrencat1873:
“There are far clever people than you or I that will be top of any valid counter claim against the virus.”

They won't “top” it at all. They appear to be “topping it” because the counter argument from some very clever people is being censored in the MSM plus Facebook, twitter, YouTube etc.
As for “clever”. The guys who produced the Atomic Bomb, Plastics, war in the Middle East and industrial pollution were very intelligent...but not very clever. .Or the other way round.

Quote: MatthewTrin "Careful with far left politics, anyone with any knowledge of 20th century history understands it's as equally as dangerous as far right ideology. Left vs right political bickering just makes the world elite even stronger. Remember "divide and conquer" is not a healthy society for us to live in. Both the media inciting violent imagery over the last few weeks, corporation censorship, commenting on british hisory and a police policy of lassez faire is encouraging this debate to weaken us as a nation. Together we are stronger.'"

The sad thing is that everything that is currently unfolding seems to be inevitable. I can think of a thousand different scenario's about how this will play out and none of them are good. Is it because we -as mankind- have been focusing on all the wrong things? I haven't yet seen any alternatives for a new society that provides hope. The psychopaths who are running the show have a vision of what they believe this world should look like. It's an ugly vision, but a vision nonetheless.

Excellent contribution to this thread. Good to see you've spent time researching this topic. I was beginning to think I was the only person who'd actually bothered to critically investigate this "pandemic". Keep it up, more people are waking up because the evidence is starring at them in the face. Only issue we face is the manner in which we expose this scam. Unfortunately the truth as bad as it is can frighten people more than the "deadly" virus. Just wish more GPs, medical doctors and nurses were "allowed" to speak out. Makes sense now why we employ so many overseas doctors. They are all told to follow orders and question nothing.

An example, Now I don't personally know the validity of this but
Matthew John David Hancock is a British politician serving as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care since 2018. A member of the Conservative Party, he was previously served as Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport in 2018 for six months.Wikipedia
A copy of a page from 'Companies House' the date was 2016 where "Matt Hancock holds a 75% stake in a Pharmaceutical Company making vaccines". The company is

Im not going to micro dissect your post but, I may get back to you on some of the other points raised>

However, your comments regarding any party not being concerned about deselection (getting voted out), is absolute nonsense and I think costs a fair amount of credibility with the rest of your post(s).
I would suggest that EVERY party is concerned primarily about one issue - remaining in power and you comments about "them all being the same" is equally laughable.
The fundamental difference between the 2 main parties is that the Tories believe in keeping taxation lower and leaving people to fend for themselves, which their will be a swift return towards when they believe that the pandemic has receded sufficiently.
Labour on the other hand, fundamentally believe in larger state ownership, higher taxation and a centralisation of core utilities /services.
Politicians may all "be the same" but their politics are far from the same, it's a ridiculous comment.

I agree about the many "lost" industries but, if you take mining as an example, the industry was butchered for political reasons by the Tory government but, as I'm sure you are aware, pretty much all of the mining industry was in the North (plus South Wales) and there was very little political risk for the ruling Tory party - it certainly wouldn't have followed the same path/time scale had Labour been in charge.

More evidence this is a stich up led by the political elite. Anyone care to read the Guardian article regarding Dominic Cummings accused of conflicts of interest regarding the NHS. All connected to some kind of GP App. Makes sense i suppose as we do require one during a Pandemic. Big problem however the article was published on 11th October 2019 before this crisis. Can anyone on here explain what's going on? Smells like corruption to me.
