I like Wildie and I think he will go well in the squad this year but we have signed the new lad and I was looking forward to seeing how he went. I'm sure Agar will pick who he thinks will win him games after it's our passion whereas it's his livelihood.
Maybe my glass is half full but I will continue to focus on the positives and show my support because I genuinely believe that as a club we seem to on the right track for once.'"
The wildie/Seijka thing is not the issue with me as I can understand both sides of the argument.
However I think Agar has made a massive error of judgement with Keinhorst again !!!. To me that's what caused
all the rotation problems not Seijka.

That sounds incredibly childish.
Lomax has three plates in his head from a rugby injury when playing for his school. Of all our players he is least likely to play 'the dying swan'. He was in intensive care for a long time as a result of his head injury and having some of his skull removed will no doubt leave him vulnerable to head shots.

I'm a happy depressive - the glass is half empty but the bar is open.: |

| Quote: bazzo44 "Does anyone think Ali will get a ban'"
I was behind the posts and it looked like Lomax was running to the right, tried to turn/sidestep to the left and slipped as he had done a couple of times earlier in the game. As he fell backwards, his feet (and therefore the rest of him) were still travelling to the right and Ali was gong in to tackle him - Ali's hands were no higher than waist height and he did make contact with Lomax's head but it wasn't intentional, it wasn't his fault that Lomax had chosen the wrong studs. If Lomax hadn't fallen, Ali's tackle would have just been a standard tackle.
Should he get a ban? - definitely no
Will he get a ban ? - no, if the RFL have any integrity.
As for Amor, that looked to be a more blatant head high tackle but like most of us on here I am biased. Ryan may have side stepped / slipped / ducked a bit but if Ali gets anything then Amor should get at least 3 times the penalty.

| Keinhorst didn't work today, was feeling his hamstring after 10 mins, off after about 20 or 25.
Not good selection in my eyes, as his hamstring had more bandage on it than a mummy.

Who plays nine yes.. But not to any significant standard!

Can accept anyone is vulnerable to head shots.
But when Lomax is slipping and his head is at waist height, what's a player to do?

| Old injury aside, Lomax milked that for all it was worth; it was football-esque.
Particularly galling when earlier, he'd left Riley down for 5 minutes before he even noticed, then totally ignored Lomax cynically taking out Godinet. To add insult to injury, none of the 3 officials saw Amor come off second best against Ryan, so come back with a massive swinging arm.

| I didn't have a problem with Lomax. It was a hard clash to the head and he need to be checked out.
Ali was concerned as well and made a point of waiting around and checking he was ok.
But at the end of the day he slipped over before the tackle. I thought he actually hit Ali's knee which could have been just as damaging the other way.
No need for a penalty at all. Over reaction from ref.

| Even more annoying was that Lomax took the ball in 2 tackles later - it was innocent by Ali.
The linesman did see the Amor swinging arm on Ryan, and came on - just too weak from him and Roby to do anything about it. Useless.

The same thing you do when burrow dives at the floor head first, get down lower or give away the penalty.
Saints, like every other team has their fair share of milkers (cough wheeler cough) but lomax has never been one of them, and will challenge for the quick play the ball whenever he can (it's one if the things that endeared him so greatly to the saints fans in a time of wheeler biscuit bones and sulk-a-lot eastmond) - to suggest he was milking it is just wrong.

+1 from me PopTart...it was right in front of me, and was yet another poor decision from the clueless Roby.

| No it isn't Bruce "knowing it all" Forsyth.... all we ask for is a level playing field, and in the second half yesterday, that just didn't happen, and we weren't allowed to compete. If we had have been, we may still NOT have won, but it would have been nice to have been allowed the opportunity to find out !!!

| When there are saints fans nearby who are bemused as to why they're receiving penalties I'm sure you'll forgive us for being 'sour'
Penalties I can take, refs get them wrong, it's hard to get them all right, but as a viewer from the top floor boxes I can catagorically state that Kienhorst's try was not forward and Saint's 3rd was dead, you could even see where the ball went down on the line afterwards
