not wishing it so at all
you have to admit its strange if HMRC are there every month and the club are saying its an oversight, but as adeybull got attacked for merely pointing out a fact, im sure you will struggle to get your head out of the sand and do likewise to me

| could quite easily be HMRC error rather than the club - they sent the Bailiffs round to a client's premises for late interest payable of £17 last week, however this had already been paid but was lost in their system. Just shows how HMRC apply common sense these days
Unfortunately HMRC tend to take action and ask questions later in the current climate so this situation could have arisen for a number of reasons.

so the club is saying there is nothing to worry about and they get monthly visits from HMRC because of whats happened before.
if that is the case how come this has been missed, surely if HMRC were coming every month they would of brought this to the clubs attention.'"
“An oversight on the part of the club in relation to the amount of one such payment led to the issuing of the winding up petition. However, once the club was made aware of this it was immediately rectified.
Does this help??

And its not a wise move to fall out with HMRC, even if they are in the wrong.

| Quote: El Rey "I've been reluctant to post on a few things lately due to the fact i'll be shot down, i can see while everthing looks rosey on the outside people will believe all is well, been told many times that behind the scenes the running of the clubs a shambles in most areas.
"Unprofessional" and "playing at it" is the phrase i've heard most to describe this club.
I don't doubt this is nothing to worry about but its very poor.'"
Interesting to hear you saythis El Rey. I have noted a few things that, in spite of my overall +ve feelings, have made me raise an eyebrow. Drinks stand blocking 3/4 of the walkway behind east stand, cock up on my tickets once, mistake on the folks we sit next to season ticket prices, me being rung 3 x to renew my gold membership when I already have, the cas game fiasco and ensuing trouble. Some +ve things like fetching my hospice shirt down from the ridngs for the Leeds game without being asked cos they noticed Id bought a ticket for my daughter and Id called to say I couldnt get to the ridings cos of where I live...and the marketing strategy seems to be working...but this...blimey. I'm gonna say no more and just sit back and watch now, but I am worried to be honest, and I don't think it makes you any less of a fan to ask perfectly reasonable questions and put the club to scrutiny. We have been let down too many times to be taken for a ride again.

| Quote: dull nickname "Supporting Trin is not for the faint harted that's for sure, the AG gang have one/two more go/es until I start panicking.
There is so much room for improvement though it's untrue should be a doddle to get better than we were/are.
I'm not sure about Elston merchandising makes me nervous, it was cack prior to the AG regime and it's cack now. This should be a major money spinner but opening as many shops as Asda without any decent stock isn't a crackin idea.
We should be the only Ticket in the city (and by default are) but don't show it.'"
The stock is almost non existent and vastly worse than under th previous regime. Maybe they had too many lines they couldnt sell by the samt token but this side of things is average at best

| Cant see anything other than an oversight by the club and one thing alone makes me think so thats the signing of Mathers.Cas are finding times hard and would want the money from his transfer asap to help things for them.If we did not have that money to pay them the deal would have been dead in the water.

| On a similar note, I received my invoice for my season ticket yesterday via email, and it said 'Amount(Includes VAT of £0.00) shouldn't we pay VAT on season tickets?

How can they get away with that?!? Is it common with all clubs?
