A pleasant atmosphere would be an improvement, instead of feeling like your going to get beat up or sworn at for wearing opposition colours.

A better name?
The definition of Coliseum is "an oval large stadium with tiers of seats; an arena in which contests and spectacles are held." None of that applies, particularly the "contest" or "spectacle" part.
The entrance to a stadium is a "vomitory". That seems to fit though.
I'm here all week

Thats out of order, I've never yet had any bother at WR - plenty of jolly banter but not a sign of trouble. As far as the atmosphere goes, one of the reasons why we're putting roofs up at BV is to try and make the atmosphere more of a factor - you can't blame Cas for having what we want!
WR on derby day is a BRILLIANT atnmosphere, and the fact that you're close enough to the pitch to feel involved is something RL fans everywhere will pine for when we're in our new plastic stadia. Thats progress, its inevitable, but we're possibly the last generation to be close enough to the players to get a response when we barrack them

I was thinking the exact same thing. I think if we straightened out the away stand we would be able to do this, yes it would cut the capacity down in the away stand a bit but in the long haul it would be more beneficial.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| Have to say the new roof looks of pretty good quality.
Once the north stand and west stand are done it will be a good improvement.
The west stand only looks to have a third undercover roughly which is a shame but i suppose sky will have had some input in that.
once the two roofs are up will we be seeing a few more minor improvements or will that be all?

Found it on the Wakey site, news page 53!
Looks just like the original concept, good stuff!

I admit I am impressed with how it looks and how quickly its going up, looks much more solid than what I had envisaged, it’s just a shame it doesn't run the length of the terrace. Still its just to the right of where I usually stand so I guess it suits me.

I have no idea what the technical expressions are, but the fact that there are no supports at the front is a good thing; Mr G said at the forum that the original (cheaper) design placed some fairly hefty steels at the front, which would have obscured the view.
They're certainly cracking on - impressive.
