He signed contract the club gave him, he was more than happy to stay for the next 2 years which was in his contract but the club decided to sell. Which is fair enough from the club, made a big profit on him which is good business and after all rugby is a business as well

Using the logic of others, the club were right in accepting the bid, even if Atkins says he wanted to stay, if he admits he wasn't playing at his best. If he feels that way I'm sure other members of the squad will do, and they should play instead of him.

If Atkins never wanted to leave and it was all the clubs doing, why would he not sign a contract extension? I am guessing that the club did make some attempt to resign him with no luck, so is the claim he wanted to stay a load of old knackers?
