| It is definitely time for a change.
Carter's loyalty to Chester has been admiral, but to what cost?
It is said that Carter went a long way into saving the club back in 2013, I don't think any on here, will truly know how much we were in debt for, and as what lengths Carter went to save us.
The business nous was questioned on here, on a previous page, wasn't Carter on the board, and investing money before taking over. If so, I would guess he would have attended board meetings, and be privvy as to what was happening finance wise beforehand. Why did he not speak up beforehand.
They do say, love is blind, but I think this has gone too far now, and sadly, we are heading one way, and fast, and what Carter did, has been mainly for a stay of execution.
We can blame injuries and COVID until the cows come home, but all teams are in the same boat.
For me, an ageing team, especially in the forwards, giving us no go forward at all, coupled up with a poor coaching team, primarily, is where the problems lie.
As for fitness, do they put the same hours in, as other super league clubs?

Need some younger forwards, who might just be fitter and hungrier than what we currently have. It may be the difference as to how and where we turn the ball over

| 2 pages later and not ONE person has questioned/asked Mopsey what Ryan has told him. What splits in the team/camp. Don't start saying you can't break a confidence, you made the claim.
As for the game, terrible left edge - professional players shouldn't make those mistakes = Not the coaches fault
Rocky and I believe Tanganoa ( hard to tell from my seat in the stand) knocking on together from a drop out = not coaches fault
Appalling attack on the line and my god we had enough chances to score 30+ points = coaches fault
Oddly, I was sat around quite a lot of people ( 40+ in age) who actually didn't blame Chester 1 bit despite these forums claims.
Summary, I would replace CC IF the right coach came along. Also, Pitts and Kay our MOM. Kay for me replaces one of Miller and Lino when Wood is fit. He looks bright, keen and makes really good meters
Sorry for the pitchside view, easier to analyse view Radio Leeds

Stick to posting at 2.45 in the morning when you’ve had a few and think your hard, while your at it read my post again, it’s saying the supporters are split and it’s basically creating arguments and bad feeling amongst themselves and how can it be rectified. Personally I don’t talk to Ryan about rugby and like I’ve said in the post the team as tried and the effort as been there in every match but if you would like to go ask Ryan yourself then he’s a lovely polite lad that is if you can summon up some bottle to come out of hiding behind your screen mr keyboard warrior.

Haha think I'm hard, get a grip and act your age! You said....there’s splits all over the place in some cases.
ALL over the place.. your words, not mine. Stop being a bitter old man and FYI ( that means for your information) I work nights, that's why most of my post are late. I'd suggest stop being a keyboard warrior and making false presumptions, just makes you look like bitter.
You come across as someone who's gravy train has been halted by the club, who's opinion no longer matters, or who has a massive hidden agenda.
IF you are right, and rugby league in this country is totally on its , I'd suggest enjoying it while you can!

| As for having a chat with Ryan. Anytime. I will talk to anyone about rugby, the game is in my blood, in fact my DNA. However, reading his last few Twitter retweets it sadly can't happen. He doesn't like masks and sadly I'm not prepared to meet someone, who is also a professional sportsman who is happy to place people in jeopardy. Sorry if that upsets you.

| Quote Wildmoggy="Wildmoggy"But yet according to the coach Ashurst is a massive player for us, the glue that holds everything together, etc, etc. I would prefer Kelepi in the back row, but I don't mind him at prop, but as with a few others' this season, he just appears to have gone backwards, in fact I can't think of anybody who's now better than than they were 2 or 3 years ago! Apart from Kershaw.'"
Ashurst isn’t the glue and hasn’t been for a couple of years. Couple of injuries and although he’s not a bad player by any stretch he’s just a decent option these days.
Tangi has gone backwards because he’s never been a prop. He’s playing out of position to accommodate Ashurst/Pitts a starting spot. I will say I’ve been happy with Pitts though on the right. I think Pitts, Lyne, Mason, Kershaw have been much more effective this season than their left counterparts especially in defence by far. Tanginoa produced numerous motm performances in SR and I just can’t fathom why he’s not back to SR with 4/5 props available. Reality is that I know the answer and it's because Ashurst will miss out.
Personally imho I would consider switching Ashurst to LF for 2022 and bang Tangi back where he belongs.

Since I wasn't born when we was actually good (I was born in 1981) I go to games with hope, last night was no different. Yes it was disappointing, but the effort couldn't be faulted, and if I try to get to games and they try to win, then I feel I'm getting 'some' value. I grew up around players, my uncle played for Cas very successfully until a TJ style injury ruined his career. Lived on the same street as Glancy and round the corner from Gaz Ellis. My father was a ref (grade 2 for the old school). I repeat, I go to games with hope, I know Rhino fans that stopped going because they knew they were going to win games and it was boring. Watching Wakey is never boring. It's sometimes a hard watch but it has been worse.

| One last point. For me, the players are actually playing for Chester that much, they actually try too hard rather than stick to the basics.
