The players still need to look at that game and see where they nearly lost it and work on it

Well yes but clearly fatigue and nerves played apart at the end. Many times in the last two years we’ve put in huge efforts only to lose, this time we held on, that alone is a huge improvement.
I’ll take that result against a top team any time, any season, any coach.

| Warrington just decided they weren't going down wondering and it nearly came off. Apart from that crazy ten minutes I thought we were more than good value for the win.
On another note, I'd like to see a race between Johnstone and Kershaw. He can't half shift, young Kersh!

| No good for the blood pressure that. With the amount of fire power Warrington had on the field all it took
Was a missed tackle and they’d be scoring. They got the wind in their sails and made it closer than it should of been. Chuffed for the players and Pouching, that’s not done his job interests any harm again a team who potentially have 5/6 players worth more than our squad.

| Made that a lot more stressful than it should have been! Good to get the win though and Poching’s got his first tick in the box.

| Warrington had a 10 minute golden period of that game the rest we completely outplayed them, big wraps to whoever got in on that ratchford tackle on the line because that was game to them.

| Best we have played for years, runs from dummy half , very few dropped ball ,and silly penalties.players backing each other up with the ball ,the Lino try proved that .Playing rugby as it should be played .We tired a bit in the last 10mins but overall a great win against a team who had all the big guns one the field .The more I see of Kay at 9 the more I am impressed

| Thought they ramped it up in the second half after not really looking interested in the first half, they clearly got the rounds of the kitchen at half time.
Watching them score those 3 on the bounce was soul destroying but credit to the team for stemming the tide.
When Westerman put it down on the halfway line when we finally got our hands on the ball I thought it was inevitable they would score, but he made up for it forcing the error.
The Lino try was as good a quality try as I’ve seen in a long time at Trinity from us or the away team.
Kershaw’s interception was a great counter punch as I felt the game was in the balance at that stage despite us being comfortably ahead on the score board.
Lino taking an eternity on the last penalty was amusing.
Credit to some of the Wire fans at the end who stood and applauded the Trinity lads.
