Ive always been a big Ali fan and was disappointed to see him leave ,but he did have some lengthy and niggling injuries and I am pleased he is still playing.His skill and character are still evident

Great news. The kind of player that will not only be great on the field but will develop the players and the culture off it.

The Salford fans' were giving him some stick about his weight amongst other things in the second half and Ali just grinned at them, the grin then got bigger when he went up the field and scored the next try, shows the class of the man when he gave them the thumb's up when he came back to take up his position for the kick off.

They can say what they want but Salford would love to have a player of Ali's ability to either start a game or make his type of impact off the bench.

Although it was at the wrong end of the field for most of the Wakey fans to get a proper view of any grounding, Ali doesn't fail from tat distance, even with half of the opposition team hanging of his back !
