The whole squad is no different than if we had lost our Super League place and gives no indications of any fresh new start. |

It never was going to be anything other with Kear in charge. He had the opportunity to blood youngsters last year when the club had nothing to play for but chose to persist with the senior players who were on their way out of the club.

As Gledhill played last night it depends how he rocks up today. Griffin also to miss out for me. Play Lee in his proper position at hooker as he's showed he ain't up to halfback at this level.

Spot on.
Maybe if Crusaders thump us,Glover may finally get the message.
Kear should have been sacked months ago.
I really hope Glover hasnt got all sentimental and decided to offer Kear another contract.It will only end up costing in the long run -- when you sack him mid contract. |

Only you seem to think that, where on earth have you dreamt up that he is one of the best he's only played there a handful of times. This is the sort of OTT hype being used to describe Westerman a few years back.

Jeez you're a contrary one. I thought the point was to build for the future - if Smith is with us next season let alone the future I will be devastated. Come on one good game for a player taking up a quota spot isn't really enough. |

You don't wantch the same game I do. At the beginning of the season his defense was a big part of the reason we won games as we didn't have a weak link at half back. Now he is often having to do other people's work with cover tackling. |

I actually think Murphy has played his best games at fullback by miles. Remember him chasing breaking opposition down. Running back strong and being very reliable.
I am all for Murphy at fb. At centre he is decent but he has not touched his performances at fb.

I have to say Vasty, for a change I'm leaning towards agreeing with NGB4C. Murphy is a very good fullback and I prefer him there over centre.
It's just while we have others good enough for fullback he is also our best centre I'm happy him being there for now.
But if we signed better centres I'd move him back. |
