Much better application, better line speed, defence tightened up, absolutely awful with ball in hand again, awful game management. Kay went well at fullback, Eseh, other than one brain fart did well, Gaskell just offers nothing.

Well i was overly optimistic. Better effort, defensively good for the most part but utterly dire with the ball. Another key injury picked up as well with Murphy going off. No points for two games is a very bad sign.

And to top it off Leigh have won with a last minute try. Ultimately a bad night.

Thought Kershaw was good and to me he looks like our best winger at the moment. Kaye did a good job at fullback and i hope he stays there till max is fit. Gaskell is a waste of space and whilst ever he is our 6 i doubt we will win a game. Going into a season without a stand off is rank stupidity by the club.

Leigh are scoring points which always bodes well. Teams know they score one or two tries against us and its jobs done. We have no game plan or game breakers despite the improvement in effort.

Huddersfield were pretty ordinary too to be fair and for them I would be concerned that they only managed the one.

I called it last week. We'll be looking at the Leigh result all season. Although there's nothing to suggest it'll be Leigh we're in competition with to avoid the bottom spot.

Tbf its the quality of players he has more than anything...........especially at the minute playing without Jowitt, Lyne, Tanginoa and now Murphy/. There is no creativity, flair ...we are in big trouble!

I don't think they were ordinary. I think we defended them out.
Attack needs some work but going from a 60-0 to a game in the balance where the likely top 4 team struggled to score is a good step on for me.
