No I didn’t go I wish I could but circumstances outside my control prevent it and yes I do have a season ticket. I would suggest you ask your mate to check with George who may enlighten you the reason.

| Big let down from the saints game for me ,it’s there in them ,but we are still hounded by our inconsistency , we were in the right mind set for saints and it showed and gave a great account of ourselves , then we let Leeds dominate the game .Even taking into the account of millers exit and team reshuffles ,we had no fight in us that first half in particular and let Leeds bully us all over and not just the edges. Our go forwards consisted of mainly one man rugby mostly stood receiving the ball with sporadic looping passes which players had to reach to grab . It’s in there Ive seen it ,saints were a whole lot faster and slicker than Leeds last night . We are a good team but we aren’t a good team consistently enough ,even Willie looked shocked facing the cameras . The man was a winner on the field always gave 100%, they need to buy into his ethos and pronto . Hopefully bodies back next week and we go again ,and put it down to yet another blip in the long line of blips we’ve had over the years .

| It's funny how perspective can change when you see specific incidents.
I saw Kelepi blowing a bit and thought he was undercooked, and then I saw him miss a tackle that saw Handley run through the defence with ease.
But the stats show he actually made 34 tackles, second only to Crowther and Kay, and is way bigger than his normal stats, including some really big hits. He also made an average gain of 11 metres per carry, which was only second to Handley across both teams.
All the forwards made big numbers in tackles and all made better metres than normal. But unfortunately the missed tackles across the team were high too. Only Fifita and Arona didn't miss any. Purely a positional issue rather than effort. More of an issue was how aggressive Leeds were in defense to us. When we tried to do the same we gave away a penalty. We need to be better at that.

Tbh thought Kaye was one of the few good things last night , he increasingly looks like he could make a sl hooker. Come on in leaps and bounds

I haven't watched it back yet (too bloody depressed and angry to do so) but as usual it did feel like we were getting pinged for offences that Leeds were allowed to get away with, especially first half. I think the penalty count evened up in the second half but that's no help when you're 5 tries behind.
Not blaming the ref as we were definitely the architects of our own downfall but with some fairer decisions then I think we'd have been in it still at half time.
Also, why wasn't Leemings hit a Red card as it has been in first 3 rounds, and pretty sure there was another hit on Bowes later that should have been a yellow (based on first 3 rounds) but was let off.

At the time and not seeing it on reply I didn`t think it was even a sin binning.
I did think Jowitt should have been binned for the use of the knees on Newman when he scored.
It`s funny what you see depending on who you support and I`m not saying that to be argumentative by the way.

I need to see it on replay but Max's slide in didn't look too good. We can't do with him missing a game.

Yes, Blake Austin being the perpetrator. Lyne got 3 games for similar. Leeds next opponents could well benefit from sanctions imposed relating to several pieces of foul play during last nights game.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |

I disagree, he didn’t slide in at all. He was running across the back expecting Newman to run to the corner. Another trinity player tackled Newman who fell to the floor literally right in front of Jowitts legs. There was no time to adjust and Jowitt probably trying to avoid him ended up flying fraught past him. Newman won’t have copped a knee at full speed of he’d have been sparked out. Think it was possibly some part that probably caught him though.
Absolutely no malice or intent and just unfortunate.
