Agree re Lino, I’m not a huge fan of his but he is a big step up on the other “halves” we have at the club.

Need to look at Jowitt at 6 when he is fit because our other options are dire.

Sadly the imports (with the exception of Lino and Whitbread) are either over the hill burnt out ‘has beens’ or sub standard players who have no heart for the fight and are just going through the motions.

Relegation is probably needed to reset, have a massive clear out, get in an experienced, well respected coach and build up a squad of young talented players from across the U.K..

The money wasted on the imports must be phenomenal…. Tanginoa (sell him now before he leaves for nothing!!), Proctor, Taufua, Langi (all 3 will probably retire at end of season especially the first 2 who are shadows of the players they once were), Atoni (all the tools but the heart the size of a pea), Whitbread (no doubt will get picked up by Cas after 1/5 for next season)..

Good points there, but did you forget the most important change of all. Get a CEO and director of rugby who actually have a clue about the game.

Proctor reminds me of the time we signed A Tupou , both had outstanding careers in the NRL but now a shadow of themselves And Atoni would struggle getting a starting spot in the championship. Having said all that I don’t see any replacement making one iota of a difference to a team that has no fire in their bellies longer than the 30 min mark . Special mention must also go to lynne ,boy how his game has gone down hill is nothing short of cataclysmic, as a senior member of our team he should be stepping up to the plate and geeing the team up , instead of walking around like a wet weekend and doing the bare minimum with ball in hand .Oh how we miss Arona and Fifita and dare I say miller , because unfortunately Smith isn’t cutting the mustard in attack and now has a Turnstile defence to add to his CV . All very dispiriting for us fans going forwards , with Wigan and the wires looming , there could possibly be a record score to add to our record nillings if things don’t radically change

Proctor has zero interest the club. It matters Jack sh*t to him. Final hooter, he came on and talked to a Leigh squad player, then walked off. 20 minutes of crap.

Langi is a spent force.
Taufua. A slug moves faster. Grim reaper my .
Tanginoa. Who, where, why. What’s the point having him, never plays and only good every Easter.
Whitbread. Losing heart rapidly. Sad to see as he’s a trier.
Lino. It’s all on him, Smith doesn’t get a look in, probably because he’s not up to it therefore cut out Lino, job done.

Here is my assessment. The team as a whole has no idea how to create and overlap for winger or create a gap for a player to run through. The forwards take the ball standing so are never going to break a tackle. No one is even trying an offload. The defence is OK until they go behind then they give up.Dagger wasn't good enough for KR so he isn't good enough for us. Kershaw just runs sideways so does Lynne. Langi and Tafua try hard but are too slow. Lino is getting no help. Smith is not a superleague halfback. Whitbread and Battye are probably our best forwards. Ashurst Proctor and Pitts need to retire Hoods passing from the play the ball is too slow and Atoni is a complete fraud. He played 10 minutes gave away 2 penalties, dropped the ball and looked like he wasn't interested then got substitued only to return when it was 22-0
