So were you just making that up then?
Perhaps the club were unstable, and they did have to sell the Burgess, but administration(as you claimed only a few posts back), was never actually mentioned.
So, let me ask you again, did you just make that up to try and validate your statements?

None I don't think.
How many other SL clubs have the right or tried to sell them their grounds or leases to their grounds?
The RFL don't have a commitment to keep any club up and running, however, they do have a right to purchase something that they deem valuable to them, as would appear to be the case in the recent purchase of the Odsal lease. It seems like the money that the RFL have paid for the Odsal lease with will keep us up and running for a bit. Like I said, a business deal, nothing more, nothing less.

| FWIW I'm not angry at you, not angry at the Bradford fans, the club. In fact I'm not even angry some are trying to defend this as an act of favouritism, it's the natural reaction to criticism.
What is the point in us complaining anymore? Not just us as in Wakefield fans, but fans across the Sport, will we ever get anywhere? Should we just be resigned to the fact that the sport will be run in anyway the RFL see fit ? Well done to Bradford, your Super League status is safe as houses for the foreseeable future and beyond, you no longer have to worry, I wish (and other clubs also) I was in the same position.
If we do things the hard way it will be much more satisfying when we return to glory, when we lift a trophy at Wembley or Old Trafford we can all look back on incidents like this, the Wigan Salary Cap, the Crusaders bungs and the countless other obvious acts of unfairness and corruption, and be proud. Many clubs may look down their noses at us now and laugh at comments like this, but it won't be this way forever.

I see whats in front of me.
1. I see Bradford selling their assets to the RFL.
2. I see the RFL purchasing the lease to Odsal.
3. I see a negotiated business deals.
Now, what I think
I imagine Bradford will be happy because the get some funds together and I imagine the RFL will be happy in securing the lease to Odsal( A central location within the majority of the game and a site with possible potential to be developed).
Now, will you please tell me how or at least why you think that is preferential treatment and above whom?

Still waiting on this claim by you of BBRLFC going into admin to be true or even potentially true?
How long do you think it will be before you come back with something to validate your claim?
Perhaps a statment by Bulls or HMRC?, No?

Bradford. Have. A. Franchise. For. Life. Because. The. RFL. Own. Odsal.
In the simplest terms, to think otherwise would seem extremely naive.
From the Virtual Terrace
Quote: Bulls4Champs "Absolutely spot on.
If people are saying that the governing body of what we would like to think is an important sport in this country can buy a stadium leased by one its leading clubs without disclosing the details of that deal and expect to avoid criticism and suspicion then that is just ridiculous!
How can we as fans have any confidence in the integrity of the competition when important things like this are kept secret?
The fact that the RFL appear to think their best course of action is to keep things secret speaks volumes. Failing to disclose the deal at best looks like contempt for the fans and at worst looks like a cover up. When you couple this with a failure to explain how the RFL will manage the conflict of interests going forward, it just looks really bad. Hopefully this is just amateurish errors rather than anything more sinister, but what a mess they have got themselves in on this issue.'"
This is from a much more neutral and considered view than my own, I think it sums up quite a few key emotions of the Rugby League family. Albeit not as intense as my own.
No matter how you dress this up, the RFL have got your ass covered, and as no such treatment was exercised for various other clubs, it's quite clear that you ARE getting preferential treatment, I'm sorry mate but you can come at any angle you like on this subject but I doubt you will convert anyone who has their mind made up. Like many fans of Hull FC and Bradford have already said and even used as their own justification 'We are big clubs'. At least they are being honest, and probably, more to the point, they are correct.
If you want to continue to trying to convince yourself and us Wakey fans, that this is a harmless 'Business Venture' (A business venture which has seen the RFL spend a reported SEVEN figure sum, and the likelihood of them making meaningful, or any, profit seems slender to put it nicely) then like I said earlier you are deluded.
