| Quote: PopTart "1) for IMG we need to stay above 3000 to keep the score we have now. So actually it's better to decrease capacity and get a better percentage and higher utilisation of the East Stand in the short term.
2) it would take so much money to do the West enough to attract crowds, you may as well just buy a load of season tickets yourself and count them on your attendance
3) if you were going to invest in fans you'd do the back off the North Stand first in my opinion.'"
That's covered in the IMG rules. You can't artificially close parts of the ground to score extra points.
It was specifically stated as Hudds suggested they would do that and were busted.

| Quote: Scarlet Pimpernell "It’s all about points and our submission is just one of many. We first have to now score higher than the 12 SL clubs and then hope that we are the best in the Championship if one of these fails.
In his interview he hopes which appears to be all we have is hope and belief that the supporters will keep turning up if they build it.'"
We know we score more than, for example Cas, on facilities. We also know exactly how many points they score above us for league placings.
Our Foundation is bigger. Media? Hard to know without the real data, but won't be wildly different.
The attendance points boundary is 3000 (which is why Carter/Minards are quoting that figure).
The maths are fairly straight forward for us - maintain a 3k average attendance and perform on the field.

| Most of our scores we already know.
The flexible ones we can improve on at performance, winning the GF is a bonus no one else around us has and income outside the central funding, which is where the money tree on the east of the pitch comes in. Making that work is a big advantage.
Add in community trust stuff though I don't know the numbers on that.

| I’m sure you’ll enjoy the Championship, it’s probably more exciting than SL in terms of competitiveness. After years of making up the numbers in SL I would expect Wakefield to be amongst the top 6 if you recruit the right calibre of player.
The standard of refereeing can be pretty abysmal but it’s generally swings and roundabouts. Look forward to reigniting the rivalry between Bradford and Wakey!

How do you think you'll go with the IMG scoring Bully?

I pay commit 6 have in the past won the jackpot and numerous prizes I like the scheme and get my season pass pretty cheap and spread over 12 months.
I guess you are not in it. That's your choice as is following the club, there plenty of others to follow if you are so dejected about Trinity

I'll be honest, I've not really looked too deeply into it. Expect we'll be strong in some areas and lacking in others such as the stadium. The club does seem to be finally taking steps back in the right direction, getting Glenn Morrison in as academy coach is a coup for a Championship club.

Glenn Morrison the guy who played for us both?
That is a coup.

I may need to read the IMG doc again, but I missed the bit where you get points for having Glenn Morrison coach your kids

I'd have taken him at our club.

| I guess we will see how serious they are when they announce the list of players for next season. We will also have an indication if we believe this will help them reach their goal of 3000 supporters.
The initial indication of a squad of 25 players including short term loans and dual registration is not a good start but we will see.

I'm pretty sure he said he has about 15 committed and wants to get to 22 and then utilise the loan and dual registration system.

And run a full time academy.
There’s a number of players who may be worth a look without SL deals who could do a good job in the championship.
Imo priority players would be Kershaw, Croft (to sort our left edge out for next season).
I’m hoping Pratt is signed up as he’s showing promise at York playing centre and wing. Another offseason could see him more ready.
I’d try tempt Tanginoa so we could run a SR of Griffin/Tanginoa that could be deadly in the championship. Assuming Tanginoa is fit and hopefully wants to stick by the club who’s stick by him this season but seen little benefit.
Not sure ion the rest. Maybe Bowden who would offer more in championship and be an experienced prop.
There may be a few decent championship players knocking about worth a look. Maybe some young championship lads who would like to go full time.
I’m excited to see how we build a team for next season.

| Tanginoa would be in the 'maybe' column for me. His fitness has cost us this year and we can't afford to carry anyone.
But clearly he'd be a massive asset if he stayed.
