Pretty good display from the lads tonight but a bit disappointed in Kershaw. The late scoring spree from Cats gives a flattering result. I think the only time our wingers got a scoring opporrtunity was the forward pass to Kay, No creating of overlaps at all. Another good performance from Westerman and I thought Green was quite impressive today.

Will get shot down but best performance by far ,Catalans scored 2 trys in last 4 mins .Though Lino had is best game by far ,not getting any help at all.from 1 ,6 or 9 tonight in options on last tackle .Though we throw the ball about better is that down to Wood at 7 and Jowitt at 6 .We are starting to play for 80 minsThe try when losing by two was the turning point .Bad call by the ref .If we play at that level and give 100% against the lesser teams we could pick up a win or 2 .

When will our break come? Again a 50/50 game we come out on the wrong side of. We just aren’t getting the calls and luck isn’t something we seem to get. Momentum in rugby league is massive and the kershaw knock on from the dropout in the first half and failing to find touch in the second has killed us. As for the forward pass I’m not even going there.

I thought Lyne's pass to Kershaw should have been taken, giving him a clear run down the touch line. Thought Lyne was our best player tonight.

Can't fault the effort but we are simply not playing as a cohesive unit. A couple of real howlers from Kershaw which won't do his confidence any good and too many basic errors from the team as a whole. I didn't think the Catalans try was from a forward pass but neither did I think that Kay's was either. If we had played as well as we did against Hull we could have won that but once again we simply weren't good enough for 80 minutes.

Another spectacular collapse at the end.
No team is going to win many matches conceding 4 or more tries in a game.
We lack mental toughness hence the basic errors and late collapse.

The bottom line is that this is just another defeat. What is that now 9 out of 44, so whichever way you look at it this does not bode well for our SL future.

Can’t knock the effort but i’m afraid we are firing blanks. Some players also seem to lack basic rugby league intelligence. Our structure is poor and defensively the same problems continue to persist. Lets not pretend Catalans were great, they were far from it. But for a couple of missed kicks we’d have conceded over 40. Not good enough and it is probably now time for a change of direction.

Hard to knock individuals when we aren't getting results, but it's clear some players are not up to it.
I honestly now don't believe we have the quality of players across the park to turn this round.
I think that's the only thing that's saving CC's head.
I'm very doubtful any coach could improve some of the players we have.
Very sad for the diehard supporter but I haven't felt as pessimistic as this for years.

If what you say is correct then you have to make the team as a whole better than the sum of it’s parts by making us tough to beat having tight defensive systems and a solid attacking structure. Everybody needs to know their job and do their individual work within the overall plan. Sadly we are not seeing that and i’m no longer sure the current coach has it within his skills set to implement it.

Well it's only my opinion SC , I have no answers because I don't know how to run a team, but the league table doesn't lie and we've got one hell of a battle on our hands,

I’m not disagreeing believe me! We are what we are, a bottom 3 side. I do think though we are better than 8 wins in 42 and there are things you can do to improve the team without wholesale player changes, coaches and managers in various sports have been doing since sport began, i just don’t think the current incumbent can do that now. I feel it’s time for a change.

Yeah well it's taken some time for me to get there but I think you're right.
