Yeah, it was a little high but was caught and led to a try...thought he played really well at 9 and helped get us on the front foot....I know Josh Wood has a few fans in here but I’m still not convinced on his distribution and bringing forwards on to the ball...he puts the odd nice hit in but for me tonight has shown Jordan is a far better option at 9....one thing I think he’s really worked hard on is his discipline...I think last season in particular he was guilty of giving away quite a lot of what I’d call cheap penalties in and around the ptb but can clearly see he’s worked very hard on it...he’s gonna give the odd one away being involved in so many tackles but he’s definitely smartened up in my eyes...

Gives us a great option though with being able to bring Wood on and shuffle him into the pack...

Jesus, would love to know Crowthers defensive stats for that game as he put in a right shift. As for his lovely no look nicely timed pass for T to cross, it unlocked their defence, nothing more can be said about it other than that surely? I’m sure Crowthers dad is his biggest critic, of which I probably am of my son, but you don’t critique good play that’s just bizarre. Crowther is a cracking player who leaves everything out there, and looks to have bulked up abit too so is putting himself about which is great to see.
