| "Castleford Tigers prides itself on being a friendly, hospitable venue equally for both home and away fans."
I thought it was known for being an intimidating place? I'm sure that's what any Cas coach would want.

Was that due to the volume of the crowd on the day?
When you entered the ground, however, you were allowed to stand where you liked.

Possibly, it was the last game when you went down too so a good decision in hindsight.

Actually, the club can't sell tickets and then change that after. So, no you can't do what you want and tell us where to go.
You wouldn't pay for a ticket to the theatre in a stall only only to be told after you've bought it you can only sit in the circle. Same principle applies across all those selling events tickets.

That's what fev have done and that decision to segregate was made after tickets were on sale what's the differance? Your ticket will say ground admission and and that's where you'll be only in your designated fan friendly area. It's been done to
Prevent trouble and increase atmosphere seem to me some cas arent happy with this and want trouble. Anyway the bars in belle Vue have been open 2 hours already the place will rocking by 730 can't wait TRINITY FOREVER were the north stand the north stand the north stand of belle vue

All that you have bought is entry to the ground.
If the club deem that "for safety reasons" you should move or stay in a particular area of the ground then surely that is totally sensible.
Everone is getting a little bit carried away with this, but the point remains that, had the club not done something, we would have had large numbers of both sets of supporters trying to occupy the same space.

| The difference between the Fev situation and the Wakey situation is that the ground has two ends. You're correct - it does say ground entry, however, the majority of Cas fans will be happy having their own 'end' behind the posts so to speak. Equally, neither end is covered so it's a case of like it or lump it. Some Cas fans will be sat in the stand with Fev fans. It also has a small capacity and is a much more significant derby in a sense. It was further announced a mere 4 days after tickets went on sale (Cas started selling on Friday, this was announced on Tuesday). Further to this, it was also discussed with Cas in advance.
The issue with the Wakefield situation is the fact that your ground doesn't offer the same situation. Had there been a stand at the other end with the same level of cover, this discussion/thread etc, wouldn't exist. The fact that it was announced two days prior to the derby and also never discussed with Cas are other factors.
In reality, the two situations aren't comparable although I do take your point.

When selling tickets, the club has to tell me where I have bought the ticket for. Even by your analogy of buying entry to the ground, that implies that I can use any part of the ground. Had the tickets said Standing - North East corner then fair enough - that would be OK.
If it was for safety reasons, they knew the North Stand would have been built weeks ago, they knew that Wakey fans were going to use it as the Let's Go North campaign has been running. This should have been discussed with Cas and announced weeks ago, just like Fev have done.
It wasn't, it was announced with just two days to go and, judging by the discussions, has caused more problems than it really should have.
