He could play for Catalans and enter the uk to play our sides. Greg Bird did this when his got turned down and he didn't sign for Bradford. However Catalans have said they don't want him as the have cover in that area.

| May get shot down for this but I think, with Luke George gone, Dean gone, Tadulala and Griffin most likely to leave, we should look at karl pryce. he's big and can score lots of tries, just needs to work on his defence and he is OOC, could be worth a shot.

I was eluding to the point that he cannot come to us via France not whether he can play for Catalan.

Going to agree with you on this.
17 apperances this year - 11 Tries - 45 tackle busts
(According to the super league website)
Only 25 too, deffiently worth a shot imo.

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Funny you should say that. You might not be the only one thinking along those lines.

Didn't you know AG has a long lost cousin who does the rubber stamping at the boarder agency?
Heard she fancies a new set of double glazed windows throughout: so should the visa application come through she could just "forget" to bring the reject stamp to work that day!
Bingo everyone's happy!-Except AG's bookie after forking out the MASSIVE wage (which is all they want & we know it!).
1000000/1 chance of netting him but I think we should be very public in our approach- demonstrate we have the money and the intent!

| Completely disagree GPrice. He's been refused before and would get refused again making us look very silly indeed for even contemplating an offer

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| There are a few ooc at nil that would be quality additions
Greg Bird - loose, Stand off, second row
Todd Carney - halfback.
That mcrone halfback.
Scott porter - halfback.
Tim Smith - halfback.
Would take any of these really as they would improve the team. Probably in that order too.
Also Scott Moore at saints told to leave due to indiscretions. He is a good player.

| Wakey Express qt from JK article
However, Kear revealed that Michael Korkidas, Jeremy Smith and Kevin Henderson are also set to depart having failed to earn new contracts.
Kear said: “From what I understand, Michael Korkidas, Jeremy Smith and Kevin Henderson have not as yet been offered a deal but there is a new coach coming in and he may look at it in a different light.”

That's a good list, but Bird and Carney wouldn't get a visa and McCrone I believe has re-signed at the Raiders.
Not sure how I'd feel about Bird at Wakey to be honest - he is a truly horrible individual and a house of epic proportions.

I wouldn't even want Kevin Henderson to play Daddy Cool.

| Harsh waketilidie he's stod in manfully at times for us and for me has improved year on year. He's a grafter who's hard as nails and probably a coaches dream as he'll play anywhere he's asked to without any fuss or moaning. All teams need players who are prepared to do the hard yards and role their sleeves up and get dirty, Hendo fits this category and for me deserves a deal as I'd imagine his wage is one of the lower wages within the squad.
