Ended up buying tickets directly from the RL website. Just need to sort coach travel as I had no luck on the phone to the shop today.
The trains really are garbage in this country. There are plenty down there but the last one back is at half 8!

Depends where you are traveling too, there is a train to wakey that leave kings cross at 10pm or a later one that goes to Leeds that leaves at 10:40 |

Worked out good for us. We were seeing family in Beaconsfield that weekend and Beaconsfield is only 25 minutes away from Wembley by train on a direct line. Result.
