I’m on about if he comes back to a league in the RFL.

Not sure anybody knows. Hopefully he will be a success and end up staying over there. I do like to see trinity homegrown players doing well.
Didn’t see much of him on highlights. Was that his first game back from injury.

| Somehow it eases the pain somewhat if our rising stars leave for Oz or other foreign clubs. Like when Tom Johnston left, I could accept his departure far more easily than if he had signed for Leeds or Wigan. Hopefully bothTom and Murph will be back in a Trinity jersey in the not too distant future.

| Must have done enough in his first game, he has been named in the NSW Cup squad to play the Canterbury Bulldogs on Saturday 6/4. Interestingly he has been named on the left wing for this game, he played right wing last week. It seems that the Roosters management are keen to have a good look at him to decide his best position, and how he fits into their team. I hope he goes well and can get a run of games under his belt, it will bring his game on tremendously . However competition for places is fierce and he will be under a fair bit of pressure

Amazingly he did most of that in rehab whilst with us in preparation for the NRL, shows the lads dedication.

| I think he has the potential to be one of the best wingers in the world, and is arguably further along than TJ was at his age.

That's a huge assessment to say he's hardly had any time in SL and not really established down under yet.
My opinion - I'd have TJ anyday for his ability and dedication to trinity when he could have walked as LM did.

Quality wingers are 10 a penny in the NRL, he wouldn’t tie Dom youngs laces and they are the same age never mind Coates, mulitalo etc who are seasoned NRL players and at a similar age. See how he gets on in the NSW comp first.

I like Murphy and he has bags of potential but I’d give that one to TJ. Watching both come through. It’s not a competition though and Murphy should have a great future

I agree.
I like Murphy a lot but he has a way to go before he's even an NRL starter never mind best in the world.

| We will have to wait and see how Lewis goes in Aussie, and I do agree that it's a massive step up from SL,but I've no doubt that the lad has the talent.Young is NRL ready,Murphy isn't.Should get a clearer picture by the end of the season.

Nowhere near where TJ was at that age, not even remotely arguably imho. Flipping heck he only played a dozen or so games for us. He was good but they all are in there first season.
If he were climbing Everest he’d be at base camp one. TJ on a good day is near the summit. Murphy is way off, but in fairness he’s giving it a good go.

| All the comments about being nowhere near TJ, I feel I have to put my opinion over. I've known Dom Young since he was 10 (even coached him for 1 year) seen him play all through his junior days and scholarship and academy at Hudds and the couple of SL game he got, and although he was extremely athletic and coachable, he looked distinctively average, what has made the difference is the coaching, this is where Australia is so far in front of us. He has been turned in to a World Class winger there is no doubt and if Murphy gets the same level of coaching as he did, he will turn out as good if not better, at 19 in SL Murphy looked a better prospect than Dom at the same stage.
