| Lol. I'm all in with Sky.
The commentary team don't bother me but C4 and Premier both showed them the way.

The Sky team stopped bothering me when I dropped on the idea of turning the sound off .
That premier is that linked to Fox Sports?, because if it is they are certainly in a different league to that bunch of chancers on sky, downside of it is when I turn on to the Beeb for the cup games that Wilkins rears his ugly head, still it's comforting to know you can turn to the tried and tested and turn the sound off

| On the subject of Sky, my deal comes to an end in 3 weeks, so I will be looking to re-new but hopefully on better terms, for me, not them, as my package is now getting expensive.
So has anyone successfully negotiated down their contract recently ?? (as per Martin Lewis' recommendations)

I did but with Virgin, the cost including all channels had reached £150 but after a discussion I reduced this to £86.00.

They'll want to keep you. So you need to plead poverty and say your friend got a discount.

If you go on to apps and then onto manage my account the monthly charge will tell you what it's going up to in 3 weeks time, mine went up from £101.50 to £116.50, when I told them to shove it they magnanimously offered to reduce it to what it was ok if you trust them, it's not 12 month since they put it up £5 per month from £96.50, a lot of money to pay for adverts second hand sport during the week, women's football, netball, basketball, and the most expensive internet on the market, good luck anyway

| Regarding TV deals, I've decided not to renew my Premier Sports subscription this year. Without the Leigh v Featherstone tussle I just don't see the Championship as interesting. I will unfortunately miss any games involving Trinity loanees though.

The PS footage has been pretty good, however, if they want mass sign ups they are going to have to drop the charge down, not sure what will happen now they have been bought out.
Either way no Leigh v Fev is a key issue for the championship, but not an end point for the PS deal as there are plenty of other matches. The problem is they are stuck with a specific audience.
Unlike C4 who have open air and access to all levels of the sport in reality.

| Just for info, from past experience the Sky Bet trader is the best in the business (if it's still the same guy who I was aware of a few years back). They price all the lower league games up including the outright for the National Conference. That has to have some confidence in your ability to form a view on something especially such a low competition (no offence to anyone that plays at that level). In general Skybet are normally on the money with their prices / views.

Do they even really price most markets anymore? I thought they just used the exchanges as the natural market level?

They still have traders. They just tweek the feeds based on how much money is posted and any particular market and sometimes just to encourage people to a new market.
