There is no shortage of people with money within WMDC or the North in general. What MC was hinting at was that now we have a starting point, something to sell. Nobody is suggesting we have the KC Stadium. But the East stand will offer the focal point from which the rest can be generated.

Rich people don't mind splashing the cash, what they don't usually do is throw good after bad, Ken Davey the exception. They don't expect to make money, they expect to lose it. They will accept that if they see a chance some success and a legacy. Neither of those was on offer until now.

Now we know we will meet criteria. Now we know that we will shortly have a stadium that will be able to attract support and even some players. The club is now at a point where a wealthy investor may fancy the challenge. Before now it wasn't a challenge it was a ball and chain.

Look at it this way, to get BV to where we would like it would now probably cost less than half the amount being spent on it now and it's no longer urgent, that makes for far better maths.

I believe this was so and probably demonstrates he's not the right man for the job. He was spot on from the view of a business man which is what he is. But you have to be more than that to run a sports club, ice cold logic doesn't apply. He was totally wrong to ask for that because it's not how our sport works and it was unfair. Sorry to keep saying this but that's not investment or not what MC means, that's commercial. I agree it will help us with ASUS that's for sure as it will with other commercial stuff.
