| Kersh & Lewis outstanding again.
Liam K turned the game when he came on
Dont remember who it was on here pulling Gaskill down (for a change) but he did OK too.
Ended up in the West Stand as we didn't roll in until 7,25, but had a great view of Big Daves kick!

| Kay did speed things up a bit but I though the spear tackle on Murphy put some fire into the bellies of our guys. Strange how the ref missed it again.

| I thought it was nice that we could actually control a game and grind out that kind of win.
That is exactly the kind of game we would lose in the past, and commiserate ourselves by saying we were in it for a while.

| It would appear McGuire thinks that Murphy may have milked the tip tackle because he lept up once the penalty was awarded. He was also not happy with his try, I guess nobody likes losing to us.

Murphy was down for a while, and certainly didn't leap up.
Maguire was a as a player and he's still a .

I do not doubt it but thought it would amuse.

| Thought Kershaw was brilliant and i am fast becomming a fan. Took his try really well and he has worked on a lot of things in his game. However his work rste is immense he takes up one or two drives every set, its like having an extra prop when you need one to grind your way up field

It's staggering that the tackle on Myler the previous night was a sin bin and yet, dropping a player on his head isnt ???
The ref actually seemed to be ignoring the challenge completely until his assistant intervened.
As for McGuire, he used to go down with a strong gust of wind
Murphy and Kershaw both superb and Fifitas conversion was a joy to behold

I’m almost certain the referee waiting until Murphy was sat up to award the penalty, so that makes no sense.
Disgusting imo, from the angle I was watching it didn’t actually look like the referee was going to call anything until there was uproar from the players and the northstand, certainly didn’t see any of the officials run in to stop play.
As others have commented though, there was a real shift in momentum and play after this.

Myler was bad but the the idiot that is Wilkins!
I know they are there to build controversy but for me he should be sacked for encouraging cheating.

We were stood right next to it and how the lino and the ref missed it first up is beyond me.
He didnt "leap up" straight after either. His try was first class.
McGuire is [ianother [/ibad loser - he should be looking at his own team for going through the motions in the 2nd half before belittling our players.

I guess he'll be even less happy now then as Jez Litten has got a 2 match ban for it. I think Marcus Griffiths should also get a 2 match ban for not seeing it in the first place!

I'm with you on this - Wilkins comments were an absolute disgrace. We're trying to attract people to watch our great game and we have commentators saying that it's OK to cheat your way to a penalty (and ultimately victory)
He was a d1ck when he played and quite frankly he hasn't changed. Bet he'll feel differently tonight if a Wigan player does that and gets one of his beloved Saints players sent to the bin!

Yes really cant understand how both him and The TJ were really slow to do something.
However as a ref i generally like him. He lets the game flow and far less pedantic thany many others. Other than this incident was decent in both Hull games
