Batch has impressed me recently and some of the tackles he put in on Sunday were top drawer so I get where you’re coming from.
Tom Is an unbelievable talent I sincerely wanted to stay but he’s decided otherwise. I wish he was staying but how many times has he been on the park this season? It was said at the last match Catalans we’re paying Trinity not to play him!
May be ridiculous but it’s either that or the injury is genuine - either way I’d stick with Murphy and Evans ( who didn’t look at all out of place against Wigan!)-

All the best Tom ,In my top 10 wingers I have seen for Wakefield after watching them for 67 year.

Glad it’s finally been announced, felt like it’s dragged on abit for what ever reason. Best winger I’ve seen in my time as a Wakey fan and fortunate enough to see one of the best individual displays at Belle vue when he literally single hand-idly beat Salford for us, albeit for 40 mins.

Let’s be honest here , a fantastic world class player whilst on the pitch but has spent far too much time on the physio table and as a club we simply can’t afford that luxury . Will be interesting watching him at les cats and seeing how he goes in a top quality team . In hindsight for me we should have cashed our chips in earlier and got something for him ,but I’m more than happy with the wingers we have at present , along with Kay and kershaw who will come back on stream shortly .exciting times ahead with comings and goings and a shaking up of the club

Still 7 tries in 10 games this year thats still probably our highest scorer this year and how many more if had been fitter this year

I’m glad it’s sorted I think we all knew it was over after the Cas debacle.

Best player in relation to his position I have seen in my time watching Trinity. The only out and out WOW player we’ve had. A true entertainer.

Although I hope he goes on to win trophies I think we got the best of him. The club certainly got a return on its investment.

Having said that, due to injuries, only averaging something like 16/17 games a season. Need your key players playing in more games than that.

Without sounding harsh, a bit of brass will be saved on the medical bill.

Here’s one for the ones who like their stats - since Tanginoa came (80 games ago ago , may 2019 ) )Miller , fifita , Johnstone , and Tupou have only played together on 7 occasions through various reasons , mainly injuries. However you look at it that it’s a poor return on your big investments , and obviously one reason why we are where we are

Sadly that is the story of his career at Wakey.

He leaves with a lot of what ifs due to his injury record.

He has a great carry and obviously his finishing is top class. I’m still of the opinion he has issues in defence but again due to his lack of ability to get a run of games together consistently it’s always going to be a challenge to improve weaknesses in anyones game.

I hope the warmer climate change is environment and coaching can see him on the field more consistently because that is obviously what he needs to do to reach his potential which I think he can do still.

Catalans have clearly showed their hand by retaining Yaha on a new deal as well as having Tom Davis on contract. A nice insurance policy to have in place.

They are 2 very good wingers. Tom has the potential to be the best on the 3 of them however they clearly expect him to miss a few games enduring they have quality back up when he does.
