| Well unless I am their agent then yes it is my assumption based on the article from Miller and no mention either from the club or the players in respect of Batchelor and TJ.
I am sure if they were still in negotiations they would have said so. I wonder on what basis you believe them to be staying, is it the well worn fingers crossed or just blind faith.

I’m not convinced on TJ yet. It could be a case that his groin injury has de-railed a potential move. Also Yaha resigned for Catalans after TJ’s injury. Some teams willing to take a punt on him may not now be as keen. This may put us back in the driving seat for his signing. It’s all guesswork at the moment until something officials announced. TJ is my favourite player but if he goes I do rate Murphy too. It’s just a matter of waiting till somethings announced.

| It must be difficult for players to commit to us when we are not 100% guaranteed to stay up, especially after last weeks shambolics. I genuinely wouldn’t feel badly on anyone wanting to leave to either progress their careers or for more money, it’s a short career. I’m sure things behind the scenes will be busy in regards to comings and goings. We need to be realistic with our transfer expectations, we have done ourselves no favours being in this position in the league, as we will be way down the pecking order of potential suitors for decent players, or suitable players for us. Hopefully news of 2023 squad will come out when we have more of a buffer over Toulouse, which we can make happen tomorrow (not feeling too confident) or Magic weekend.

| A number of players are on inflated contracts and we need to get them back to a position where there is status-quo within the club regards a wage structure.
Miller is on a big wage probably more than he brings to the table and doesn’t want to drop from that so is rightly for him looking elsewhere.
Wakefield have to start making some tough decisions and do what is right for the club. If he wants more than we believe he is worth then he leaves and we look for a replacement.
We have been here before handing out contracts which simply do not provide value for money and we need to phase them out. As contracts wind down we have an opportunity to do that, but the key is obviously finding players to replace them that strengthen us across the park.

I do feel that investing in the academy and pathway to first team is the way forward medium to long term. I think the difficulty is the short term 1-3 years. As I said before though I can see us being much more attractive when the developments are complete.

| To many players on good money, we don't sighn players who should be any position to demand good money.
Trinity are and have been for some time the scrag end of sighning players and if there's any mofe than 4 /5players on SL money we deserve all we get.
If we do get relegated the club will be left with a number of over rated players who will in all honesty have to see out their contracts because no other club will want them.

IF we are relegated then it has been mentioned that players can leave because their contracts are only for SL rugby. Does it not work both ways i.e. the club can release players because it is no longer a SL club?
If not, it should, because it's down to some of those players that we're in this predicament.
If some of the players had played with heart in at least 4 games we should have won this season, things would be different, and it seems harsh that if we went down they would have to come with us!

In all honesty, I wouldn't be too concerned if he went really.
Yes, he is, in his day, a potential match winner. However, sadly his injury record is a concern, and he's only thst potential match winner when he's on the field.
I would imagine if we did try to keep him, he'd provably end up being one of our top earners.
Sadly, I think he averages something like 17 games a season. For me, with a club with our finances, you need your top earners yo be playing more games.
I'd rather be fighting hard to keep Batch, and be looking to replace Miller with a quality half back, maybe two if Lino goes as well

| Miller has already signed for Castleford 100% and also other players have signed pre contract agreements elsewhere, the club are as expected not saying this as it would make them look even worse than we do now

Never said they are staying. Just that you don't know.

The pimp is a classic example of someone who writes the narrative to suit himself. If it’s positive news then basically it’s all part of the clubs huge lie. If it’s negative it’s immediately credible no matter how dubious the source.
Hence when things go well he never posts or posts disparaging comments. If it’s negative he posts quicker than a whippet on heat.

| I'm sure he brings more to the team than we perhaps see on the pitch, however Miller has not been a world beater for us. Maybe he'll go well with a different set of players around him.
I hope he stays, but I won't be crying if he goes.
He's not the Messiah.

He's not the messiah, but he's decent and we can't afford to replace him with the messiah either. Probably not even Brian!
For me the best way to go is to let TJ go, let Miller go if he really wants to join our rivals and use that money to replace Miller with someone good and keep Fifita and Batch.
