He’s been gone a while now, who else are we going to chuck in.
I’m not sure where this is going. Is this the latest way to have a dig at the clubs recruitment. Because he once played for London he’s inferior.
I really don’t care so long as he does the job to be honest, we’ve signed some real duffers who came from top clubs with big reputations. |

Big body, career stuttered a little but he is still young and has enough quality to get a call up for England Knights.
Not a quota player, won’t be on a huge wage and will no doubt have something to prove.
Good signing if it is finalised in my opinion.

Said at the time Battye wasn't the answer and has proved me right, at least they are trying to bring in the right prop cross fingers this one works but it shows we're still not willing to spend but then again what can you expect third way through the season |

What on?
The only place you will find a proven prop this season is the NRL. We don’t have the quota spot or the time to get it through.
There are obvious negatives, however there are obvious positives. If he works out just reasonably well he’s an absolute bargain and being young has a long term future.
Someone saw enough in him to pick him for the England knights. Also this is a WP signing and as we’ve seen he’s not one to panic. I don’t know but I suspect Poching does a lot of research on his signings so this won’t be a panic buy.
It’s certainly better than a Championship player imho even though I accept there are some good ones they are generally unavailable.
This lad is probably as high end as we can find let alone afford. |
