Leeds fans getting on my nerves not sure if people are aware they won league today by been fantastic in beating us
Hall looked good, and as for the Leeds fans they never change, most of them are still as odious as ever.

Unfair I suspect.
Leeds paid for the production costs yesterday so I doubt they are willing to hand them over to us just yet.

| Quote: Kettykat "To say we had our whole back line sat out we competed well in the first half whilst not causing leeds too many headaches. Second half leeds stretched their legs and showed some class touches with sezar and Newman stand outs for me . Great to see our youngsters up against much more accomplished opposition and making a good fist of it ,and will have done them the world of good ,as well as seeing exactly where they are in their development moving forwards .'"
More importantly our HB partnership. Mason and Lino were starting to hit there stride last year. Makes a huge difference as to how the team gets around the pitch.

Don’t know. I suspect WP looked at the strength of the Leeds team and decided to balance it enough to ensure we didn’t get a whooping.
Also, I expect senior squad members to be fully available even on Boxing Day, even though we only used half of them. With youngsters I’d be temped to be a more open minded. If you want to play you can but if you want to enjoy Xmas before life gets too serious then do so. Don’t think any of them would have made much difference tbh.
The Fev game will possibly see a bigger bench as that’s a pure trial game. Strong opposition but not a SL contender. Much more opportunity to mess around.

| I am very optimistic after yesterdays performance. I thought all the team put a shift in. Yes we didn't create much going forward but I thought the defence was pretty good for the vast majority of the game. The atmosphere at Heading ley was pretty good. I have to say that Austin looked like a cart horse moving with the ball not taking away the kicks he put in though. If we can sort our attack out then things look very promising. The young lads did themselves proud yesterday up against an almost full strength Leeds outfit. At one point I think we had 2 half backs and 3 hookers on the pitch. It was a good run out, a bit more composure and a little luck the score line would not have been as wide as it was. That said the score line was not important the important thing was the experience some of our younger players got from it. I think the whole team played with pride and passion to the end. A big shout for Dave who put his hand up at the last minute to play as ever he was full of enthusiasm and a great man to have the younger ones playing alongside. also T who worked tirelessly some real good things to look forward to. Leeds its early days and obviously some ring rust but they made some big yards, I am pretty sure that was our lack of size in the main and of course people with brains like Sezer and Austin are no mugs on the pitch.

Listening at the game to some of the comments going round and reading Willies comments those who played are those that we had, I am pretty sure that some of the senior players were told they would not feature however back to the rumour squad injuries and covid.

I suspect that’s why the commentary was so biased. Never mentioned once that Poching played for us first, that was really bad.

Coaches are poker players, what they say and do are different things. I personally believe he just wanted to put out a team that could compete and blood as many youngsters as possible whilst still having the semblance of a team.
You could imagine him picking that team if we were in the midst of a massive injury crisis. Not a bad idea if that was his intention.
Not sure about Covid, seems unlikely Leeds would have none and we would have a dozen? You may be right but doesn’t sound likely to me.
