The verbal contract thing is a bit of a myth.

It does exist and is enforceable but if you actually wanted to sue someone over breach of verbal contract it's quite hard to prove what was agreed.

Whereas a written and signed document is much clearer for both parties. Especially if witnessed.

Correct, if it’s e-mailed it’s essentially witnessed as there is a paper/date trail.

Speaking of our ex coach I called in my local yesterday afternoon and sat in the corner in deep conversation was David Fafita, Jacob Miller and Chris Chester. Wish I'd been a fly on the wall.

Absolutely, and if you strip it back to the bare bones of the situation, Chester is just a bloke who has lost his job, my guess would be he`s not exactly on top of the world and he`s spent nearly every day with these lads for the last 5 years.

I'm glad he's got mates that are supporting him. It has to be a tough time right now.

Going by Aaron Bowers comment earlier it sounds like we were wanting to sign Langi to play a second row/loose forward role for us. Not too sure about that personally, we seem to have enough cover there already.

A bit easier though if it was on Zoom etc, there is always a 'record' facility
