| This is very sad but there was no other option
Chris Is clearly a very nice bloke
Gave us some amazing rugby to watch when he first came in that turned the club around and for that I thank him
This was the best thing for all concerned as this situation could not go on
All the very best too you Chris

| For me it’s never nice seeing anyone lose their job, especially with mortgages and families etc. His job though had clearly become unattainable, and the club as a buisness, the book stops with him with poor performances. Many quality coaches through the years have lost their jobs and come back to greater success. I have not posted on here in a while and I think with how wakey have been playing and the standard of RL in general over the last few months I had lost a lot of interest tbf, which if that’s done that to me imagine what it does to fair weather pay on the gate fans. Hopefully we can restore a little bit of pride into the short for the rest of the season and actually plan to get a competitive team on the field for the remainder of the season and especially next season

| I just hope that we can all remember that Willie is the interim coach, and that if we don't win the league now we don't destroy him and his undoubted Trinity legacy in the process.

| I'll be the first to say it, I'm not sure Poching is the man. Looks for all the world like a deputy, not a sheriff. He comes across as too laid back to me but what the hell do I know and I hope I'm wrong.
On the plus side, much of Pochings career was spent at top teams, Leeds as a player and Warrington as a coach, under a number of top men. So he should at least have the knowledge.

I tend to agree with you but i suppose he will get the rest of the season to make his case, if he wants it that is.

| Chris Chester really is a nice bloke. Sad but probably an inevitable event from a simple business planning point of view. All the best to his future.

First of all, thanks for the effort Chris and all the best for the future!
I'll second it because surely what is needed is a proven coach?
Willie is a legend at BV, but as a player not coach. Being a good player does not make you a good coach BUT I'm willing to eat my words!
Anyway, whoever it is, the players now need to take a look at themselves because, despite what some poster feel, I don't think some of them have always given 100%.

Brilliant players and legends of clubs do not necessarily make good managers. Obviously no one knows but I don't think he would be my choice long term. Hopefully whatever happens works out

| Agree Vasty, we need someone with zero connections to the club and playing squad. Clean slate, new start. Someone with experience of how Saints or Wigan go about their business would be nice.

| Well Chester's gone and I wont deny I was in the Chester camp and I'm disappointed but maybe it's the right decision we will see. But I hope the Chester haters don't come on here with more faces than the town hall clock wishing him well when a number of so called supporters made his and his familys life hell on social media. I would like to thank him for his efforts in difficult times and finally I hope some of the personnel at Wakefield take a good luck at themselves.

Get a grip, because supporters weren't happy with performances and the state of the team under Chester we now can`t wish him well? I`ve heard it all now, I`ve not seen one poster cross the line on here with so called "Abuse" of Chester, I may be wrong, but I`ve not see anything... this isn`t Facebook or Twitter.

Chester got himself involved in private messaging fans on social media asking and saying stuff to them, I’ve seen the posts. Chester as had some unbelievable backing off some Wakefield supporters when anyone else would of been hammered and sacked but the trickle became a flood

Correct people on here have not abused him or his family on here, they’ve wanted him in or out and I saw one post on Facebook by a young lad wishing he would die but no death threat or abuse against his family and if that’s the case I’d like to see it
