The game is gone and no amount of defending the RFL is going to change that. It started snowballing when they gave away the sponsorship for free with Stobart.

Its the inconsistency that stinks. A few weeks ago Liam Watts got a 2 game ban for a late challenge. It wasn't a high shot or a shoulder charge so he appealed. He got an additional 1 match suspension because the panel considered his appeal "frivolus".

Are you saying you think a one game ban for the respective incidents were valid?

Some fans however seem to get cheap thrills out of death riding the game - it's a bit odd frankly.

How many times have you heard the phrase, the game is on its knees. Fans will stop coming. Etc etc.

Same as any business it has peaks and troughs.

So, everyone should sit back and take a whole load of bilge, meted out at random ?
Perhaps those "faceless" people should concentrate on the more obvious intersessions within the game, of which there are plenty.
Maybe there is an ulterior motive to try and get Trinity to postpone or forfeit a couple of games but, as Carter said, Trinity are better than that and even with these mindless suspensions, we will be putting a side on the field on Friday.
Perhaps some of the games "bigger" clubs could learn something.

I thought that you would appreciate a person doing the right thing, rather than trying to take a cheap pot shot at Carter.
