Holland was pretty quick then his knee gave way. Probably have recovered today with modern techniques.

Holland was the best cover tackler I’ve seen at BV.

I rarely agree with you but in respect of Holland defensively he was our best. We may have had better like Ella or Leeds but these were short term whilst Holland performed to a high level over many seasons.

Best re signing they made for a while. Be nice to keep Rocky too but can’t see that happening now with the injury prone Gaskell coming in.

Really pleased with that, he's a great talent and a sound lad off the pitch too.

Pleased for Max and for the club because I think his best years are to come.
Lots of other full backs named on here and they were all very good, but they aint here now so I'll settle quite happily for Max at FB.

And the original question was when was the last time we had a fullback who gave as much confidence under the high ball.

The ones named all had skills but none in my opinion were as good under the high ball.
He gives me absolute confidence that he'll take it.
There are other parts to his game that can of course be improved but that part he gets a mark of Outstanding.
