Not really, the lack of plays in the opposition 20 cost us. Its the same as soon as we play the better teams we look so blunt.

Feel sad for max after having some good games but he ain't the star most think he is, as for fafita who would you replace him with we've already scrapped the barrel with battye and green

Max obviously wasn’t at his best but he still has more good games than bad. He is worth sticking with.

When people on here were bulling max us as the new Messiah it was only going to end like this ,with a howler. The lad is still learning his trade and just started getting regular game time after being messed about ,mistakes are going to be glaringly obvious as he’s the last line of defence .It’s a long road to get to the top in any sport and max is just setting off on his professional journey ,and hopefully in a year or two we have a homegrown fullback who’s up there with the best .

Max hasn't had his best game tonight but every player is allowed mistakes now and then.
He's the best FB we have at the club but the expert coaches on here know better of course.

Must admit that faux pas towards the end was a little reminiscent of the Grix v St Helens incident. But generally I've been quite happy with Max this season.

I disagree about max been best full back for me rocky is but its not just tonight with max its a weekley thing even going back to last season when sky commentators said he needs to learn his timing of passes well it aint improved.i personally dont blame max for losing tonight judt dont feel hes what some make out

He rarely runs onto the ball, he takes it in from a standing start.

I was at the game so not sure if it looked worse on TV but Max wasn't the problem today. He made some mistakes but our left edge handling Mata’utia was a big problem and us making too many mistakes while in possession just handed them the opportunity every time.

Not sure what you were watching but I saw him do that a number of times today.
But even so he still makes more metres than any other forward and he was heavily watched tonight and still rattled them.

Don't get me wrong, I like Max, but he must learn & move on.

I must have been watching a different game Fifita ran onto the ball numerous times. Fifita and Tanganoa caused the Cas forwards the most problems.
