Did Khlav win this week?
I'll post the list later when I'm on the laptop.

I’ll be honest I don’t remember Wood ever playing at 7, might have Isaac John and Tim Smith that year.

| Ditto Obst almost exclusively a hooker for us.
Jeremy Smith was 2011.
Of course a lot of this depend on whether you see 6 & 7 as different positions or both as interchangeable HB positions. It’s the latter imho.
So Rooney counts imho

That is right in terms of what position they played but Smith didn't play in 7 in his first year. Wood had the 7 shirt and Smith played in shirt 20

He may have had the 7 shirt but he didn't play at 7 and oddly I don't think was ever intended that he would, he played mainly from the bench. The HB partnership that year was definitely Smith and Johns. It was Smith second season that saw him take off with the addition of Paul Sykes.
Woody had a lot of competition that year in Aiton and Ellis.

I understand that, but that is the whole point of Coco's thread. We are talking about who wore the 7 shirt.
Of course personally, I preferred it when the match day shirts were numbered 1 to 13 no matter who plays.
That does beg the question how they handled it in the pre squad number days.
If you play say Sam Obst at 7 but the week after Tim Smith plays or maybe someone like Tony Kemp. They can all play the position but they don't all fit the same shirt
Maybe they restitched the numbers on different shirts.

Oh come on that’s pedantry even for you. The OP states the no7 position, doesn’t mention the shirt number. Since squad numbers came into the game 7 refers to the position only ie scrum half. Any number of players have played that position whilst never wearing a 7 on their shirts, have you not noticed this? It’s who played the season in the no7 position not the shirt who was our no 7.
In the old days where you seem to live, whoever was SH that day would wear the 7 shirt even if he was normally a prop. Now Fifita could play at 7 but he wouldn’t wear that number. Sorry to appear condescending but I can’t think of any other way to put it.
Do you take every aspect of life as literally as this?

I was sure it’s the 7 shirt as well, looked at the OP to confirm and it says squad No7 which I took as the shirt number.
