Couple spring to mind for me,,1 is not do good london awsy in the fritz days its was played at cyrstal palace athletics stadium can remember going and standing on grass at side of pitch in second half like been at an amutuer game but even though we was the higher division team we got stuffed.cant remember the score...tjen got stuck in ttaffic jam om way home

Then of course the yorkshire cup final v eagles, stood in kop end ellend road watching us win a trophy for first time.went to school day afterin my trinity top rather than uniform which didnt go down well with teachers but i didnt care

Apart from the obvious, million pound games and so on, the Crusaders away at Wrexham, the traffic was dreadful due to an accident, we must have taken every back road to get there, sat with Paul Johnstone in the ground whilst waiting for the team bus, 10 minute warm up and then beat them, for me a great but unexpected win due to the adversity. The look on Jarrod Sammuts face at full time sat at the side of us was priceless .

Some great games already mentioned but loved the 17 nil game at Headingley in the early nineties when Hanley was playing for the Loiners.

Another corker was a Good Friday evening game at the Jungle when JK was in charge, the team had been ripped apart by going into Administration, we losing 24-6 & the Cas fans were in full voice shouting going down. We won it with a great last 20 minutes, great night!

I remember that game. Absolutely stunned Leeds. Possibly the most dominant Trinity performance I’d seen against a top flight club until we crushed both Wigan and Hull by huge scores a few seasons back.

Think we stopped Cas from topping the table that night and curtailed their play off hopes. Great night.

Fev away Boxing Day 88/89 season maybe, Steve Ella scored a belter Trin fans going wild that try turned our season. Halifax away maybe same season or 89/90 last match of the season, pitch invasion end of match and Toppo coming out to salute the fans

Up the Trin

A memorable match for me was going to Roots Hall to watch us play Southend back in the days of Mansfield Marksmen, Kent Invicta and Scarborough Pirates. Not so much memorable for the game, although we did win, but for the lovely long drive down with a stop in Cambridge, a couple of pints and a stroll along the seafront before and after the game. Made a nice change to that old familiar drag of a drive down the M62 either east or westwards. It was enjoyable explaining things to those ignorant (in the nicest sense of the word) fans who were watching a live RL game for the first time.

Chorley away in the cup in 1994. They had a real dig but we took them to the cleaners. Think it was JD debut that night.

Used to love any game at thrum hall. Amazing atmosphere at a proper rugby league ground.

So many good memories but one of the best was our home game when we played St. Helens at Barnsley - so not strictly away - but not at home , we won 23 -22 if I remember rightly Paul March reefed the ball away and ran in the winning try, we had a Volvo with a sun roof and with my then teen age kids spent rest of night driving round Barnsley and wakefield with the kids shouting on the roof ! Possibly a slight faux pas of health and safety

Think the winning point was a Linton Stott drop goal
