Literally every management job ever!
If a single person in a team isn't performing, then it's up to their manager to resolve that, if they can't, their manager is ultimately responsible for what happens to them.
If a whole team isn't performing, then the manager is held responsible, and it moves up to the next level in the CoC who become responsible for the under performing manager

| Said elsewhere I feel for Chester, he's a supporter at heart and the current situation will be hurting him. However ultimately in pro-sport the coach will always pay the price if his charges underperform. That's how it is. It does seem he's staying however, assistant coach appointed for 2021 and Chester talking budgets in the media today.
Some of the players want to pull their fingers out as there's some shades of McShane 2015 about some of them at the moment. Once they are out on the field they 100% are responsible for their own effort and work rate. Can forgive errors but not idleness.

These are not children these are grown men so why are you pandering to them. It’s not Chesters job to make the act like responsible human beings that is up to them. Get a grip this isn’t the school playground.'"
Wise old Vasty has got something wrong and covering up your foul language doesn't help prove a point when you're wrong.

| Quote: Teltry "I can remember we had many fans who didn't like Kears style of play and wanted him gone, fans also wanted Webster gone same fans wanted Agar gone and now it's Chester's turn . Could it be it's not always the coach who is at fault take a look at the wonderful Tony Smith's team last week their defence was worse than ours. Many of us who have played the game know that ultimately on the pitch it's the players who call the shots and miss the tackles and don't stick to the game plan or adopt a different plan when things go wrong injuries etc. So as the thread says players need to take a look at themselves and not expect the coach to take the blame for everything.'"
TBF Webster 100% needed sacking after his aiming for the middle eight’s comments....:

I think what you have to look at here Vasty is I cant point out one player that is performing any worse than 7 others,
Let me take you back to Cunningham's Saints side, a team that looked shot, unmotivated and lazy - Amateur at times, just look at the difference of Holbrook coming in mid season with the exact same team - Ultimately who was at fault there? Because here we see the exact same situation.'"
Public sector procurement - wow the worlds worst byers - every private company that gets a public sector contract rubs there hands as soon as the deals signed just look t the track record

I don't get some of the signings, I dislike players in and out of different positions, I don't like our shocking defence and clueless attack, but I'm a realist as well and not all this is the Coach's fault.
I admit that ultimately the buck stops with him, but if the players don't want to play to their full potential there's no coach in the world can make them.
I cannot see Chris Chester being sacked, so the players not doing it, need to show some honesty to their employers and the supporters and get behind the coach.

| What we ALL have to remember is, the old adage, " you can lead a horse to water, What you cannot do is force it to drink" so the players have to want to play correctly & deliver once they cross the white lines on the field.
What the he'll would happen if all the professionals in their specific job & skills in what ever job they did offer the same as our professionals do, the country would self destruct !! big time ! They simply could not turn around & blame mentors or people
In charge !
No coach or person in the world trains people to behave as they are doing no matter how you perceive the coach is in his abilities !!
However, why has there been no crisis meeting & talks with all the players, staff & owners. ????
Problems have to be bottomed & resolves made in order to change things, other wise things get worse !!
