First time Cas have drawn a lower league team for years and now its a re-draw.

Simple fair solution would be a three ball draw representing the three existing ties, first existing tie drawn cancelled and those two teams progress.
The other two games played on TV and the teams who had been fortunate in the original legitimate draw, who probably had a more than fair chance of getting through (though ours wouldn't be easy) also progress. Then quarters drawn as normal.
Much fairer in my opinion, a solution that no-one could really complain about and no-one potentially worse off than in the original draw.
Could do with a sign at RL HQ with a quote from Thank You For Smoking, "go smash you're head against your desk til something useful comes out".

Much simpler solution would be to leave it as it is......

The semi-finals are scheduled to be played on the 3rd October and the final a fortnight later, on the 17th October 2020.
The draw for the two ties in the sixth round was as follows;
Castleford Tigers v. Hull FC
Catalans Dragons v. Wakefield Trinity
The draw for the quarter finals was as follows;
Warrington Wolves v. St Helens
Leeds Rhinos v. Hull KR
Castleford or Hull FC v. Wigan Warriors
Catalans or Wakefield v. Salford Red Devils

Why your not worried with that draw are you

I’d be more cautious of Salford, should we beat Catalans.
As there’s only three sets of fans for round 6, is it possible fans may be allowed to attend the game.

I'm ok with the redraw. Made it even for everyone.
Can't say we fared well in the draw but to be honest everyone needs game time so an extra game might not be a bad thing.

I really don't think that is a bad draw. Catalans have to travel across from France then we get Salford at home. Avoided Saints, Wire, Cas, Hull and Leeds until potential semi.

if we went on to win the cup then at least we've done it the proper way in beating teams, having saying that it would of been nice to get a bye

We've come out of this worse off than where we were.
The original draw, which had us playing Fev, would have seen us into the QF without playing another game.
Now, we have the delights of Catalan to get to where we were.

I realise that, to get the draw back in balance, things were far from straightforward but, we've got second best here and with fixtures getting ever closer together, it's not great.

The silver lining is that at least were going to get some games to see and it's been a long time coming.

Fev would have been no easy beats especially in a one off cup game. That tie had banana skin written all over it.
Less pressure on us against Catalan.
