If only it was that easy mate.

It always happens where things filter out before official announcement, if it is true and I hope it is MC wouldn’t be coming out say yes everything’s true until signed off and plans officially released. Hope it’s true and WFC were just a bit too eager releasing what might happen in the public domain.

| Don't know a thing about construction costs, can we revamped a full stadium, seating 10,000 for 12 million?

| Past experiences have me believing nothing now until it happens. This unconfirmed snippet of information is no different to dozens of other leads we've had in the past all of which have failed to produce.

Easily, though I can't see where anyone is suggesting all seating.
Just look at my version for 8 million. there is actually very little extra cost in seating over standing, what you do lose is capacity.
At a guess if Wakefield AFC was to be bankrolled to success from day one it would take them about 6-8 years of constant promotion before they were in a league where seating was compulsory, a scenario I find unlikely. So no need to go all saeter, what's needed in 10-20 years time is a bridge we don't need to cross just yet IMHO.

Read that, then tell me if RW being involved is so bad. There appear to no longer be any deals to be had and WMDC's complete failure to police development has led to yet another failure.
Sod Trojan horse and whether Walker would sell his granny, options are running out and the clock is ticking. People can get on their moral high horses all day long but until the doom-mongers offer some alternative I'll take Rodney's wedge if it's on offer, not much left to lose is there judging by this.

| A valid point there FC.
Also, whether we trusted him or not, did he not loan us the money to pay off a large HMRC debt back in 2010. Had that not of happened, where could we be now?

If my memory serves me well, he did loan WT money to pay off the tax man, and the club did repay in full plus a healthy interest rate. Sadly over recent years, this man has lost respect from a great many Trinty fans due to his shenanigans over the community stadium.

You're correct 164k in 2010 to HMRC, Don't know if he ever got it back though. Funnily enough it was exactly at the same time as all the Newmarket stadium stuff was going on and just got approved by WMDC.

Like with all things like this and I know the trust and fans have reasons for not liking or trusting the bloke after the seemingly dodgy way he went about things when things came to ahead with the Trust but ateotd there may be more to all that than we all know, plus it also maybe one mistake he wished he could do again, I know I've got plenty if those in my life & career.
I know from my own experience in business, that if he was exactly as some people have painted him, or even remotely like that, it's such a small world he's positioned himself in over the years, a serial Chairman of businesses involved in sports, arts and also charity; he'd have been sussed, blacklisted and confined to wakey & we'd all have seen less and less of him from the 90's on; but he's gone the other way, from being a local bloke involved in fundraising and Trinity etc, to being involved in just about every major sporting project around the country.
It's really hard to look at all the huge events and developments he's been involved in and think he can't be that bad at his job, and that's getting whatever gig his name is associated with done. For some reason though he couldn't get our little one over the line and people have seriously lost trust, trust he's taken literally decades to establish.
I wish my dad was still around to quiz him, because he was fairly good friends with RW back in the 70's and 80's as he was setting his own business up and then starting to get involved with other areas of business life and become a bit of a name around town.

Achievable, but I would imagine all singing and dancing East Stand would eat the bulk of that budget up. Basic south Stand for away fans, Salford City type west Stand and a decent north Stand. To be honest I’m expecting East Stand only to start with not full stadium development.

After the thornes Park stadium was pulled and heard RW was involved in the NM plan I thought with him on board with all his stadium and grant experience he would get it done, unfortunately the opposite happened. If he does get involved in the Belle Vue development he can redeem himself and hopefully that the case.

After the Community Trust issue with RW I don't want him anywhere near our stadium plans.
