Personally hope not. Filled in okay but don't really think he has enough go forward for a prop. Although, a pre-season with a super league club may do him good. How old is he?

BJB, I am not sure - Although he still has pace, he has lost a yard or 2 and I would expect the same to happen again in the next year, he also seemed to lack that confidence to back himself last season which he has shown throughout his career. Still a good player but going into 2021 will be knocking on the door of 33 and I would be very surprised if we did not have better options for the wing by then.'"
I think BJB hit a top speed in the top 10 players this year.
His main issue is that we battered him having to take the ball up from deep like a prop. Didn't get many good passes really.
Ironically Horo was the best centre for him as he just moved the ball on quickly.

This is a really good point
We do have a bit of a throw n hope policy with our wingers at time
One thing I’d really really like to see is Brough Tanginoa, Reece and BJB really practice some plays together that come off on the field
There is so much talent and potential there
If Tanginoa and Reece work on there combinations together I see no reason why they couldn’t be our next Solomona and Domic combo
I appreciate they are not quite the same type of players but the basic big man draw and offload to a speedster basics are there

It’s all about opinion but your certainly not watching the same player as me.
He’s 28 if I remember rightly, what is interesting is that as far as I can tell he’s never played NRL which is a concern but the JDdidnt either so who knows.
On the plus side he’s way better than Hirst and a crocked England on the minus he’s overseas. That said if he isn’t NRL trained does he count, I don’t know I’m just asking.

I think opinions on Tangata would be completely opposite if he'd of joined St Helens or (back then) Salford but I think he's played extremely well, especially considering he joined a side with the worst form the in the league.
I think a proper pre-season with hopefully a fully fit squad will do him well, I don't see him being our best forward but despite playing alongside Big Dave and Tanginoa I don't think he'll look out of place!

| A question for the experts on here.
He joined Fax in 2015 and will start with us in 2020, doesn't that mean he comes off quota or that he can apply for UK citizenship?

| Having read Wikipedia, which is not always correct it states:
When a player has played for a rugby team for six years, he is eligible to gain British citizenship and does not count under the quota.
If the player has a passport for any EU nation or a Kolpak nation.
If the player is from a Kolpak nation such as Papua New Guinea, Samoa or Tonga.
Someone has also edited the page to say:
Toronto Wolfpack are exempt every rule and can field whoever they like because they are trash and will win nothing. lol

Does not matter, even if he was successful in gaining UK citizenship, he would still count on the quota.

| So despite their allegiance and the rule of If the player is from a Kolpak nation such as Papua New Guinea, Samoa or Tonga.
I'm pretty sure the following players all take up a quota spot:
Tinirau Arona - Joined 2016 and born in NZ
Kelepi Tanginoa - Joined 2019 and born in AUS
Bill Tupou - Joined 2015 and born in NZ
Dave Fifita - Joined 2016 and born in AUS
Tangata has been in the country since 2015 but is from the "Cook Islands" which isn't mentioned in the Koplak ruling agreement.
Miller joined Hull in 2013, I'm presuming he won't count towards the quota this year?

| Tbh like tangata think he’s shown well at fax and had a really good finish for us. Improvement on annikin , hirst and big step forward over Pauli (then again so would my gran) - my only slight concern would be that he’s not the biggest and subject to who else signs could end up making a small front row - arona king tangata . At right money would be a really sensible signing and can’t really see that he’d be on quota and if so he’d qualify on residency next year

As stated above, it does not matter even if he gained full UK citizenship does it? It is all down to where a player played there development rugby.

| Yeah it's 7 Non fed/Overseas players, so it doesn't matter if he gets a British passport etc, he wasn't trained over here.

Amor? when did we sign him. Also is Baldwinson still with us, thought he signed a 2 year deal that run out at the end of this season.

Watch this space pal, Amor is a wildcat once again.
I don't know about Baldwinson, he joined York on a 1 month deal but never came back. He seemed to go pretty well for them tbf! You're right, he signed a 2 year deal starting in 2018, weird he wasn't mentioned by the club in the newsletter about departing players.
