Quote: upthecats "The thing I can’t get my head around regarding segregation in standing areas is, at some games you can enter the ground through the turnstiles where away fans go, walk up the stairs past the snack bar and then into the Northstand...on odd occasions though like Sunday, all of a sudden you can’t and have to walk round to the turnstiles behind the Northstand?...Then, having not been allowed to just walk past a few away fans you make your way into the Northstand to get passed by away fans who’ve entered the Doncaster Road turnstiles...
On another note...was surprised to learn on Sunday that you’re allowed to smoke anywhere in the Northstand that’s not under cover! Not good for a non smoker who doesn’t like it (doesn’t bother me)...or supporters in their late 70’s like my old man who has lung and breathing issues and now can’t stand where he has for the last 30 odd years if people choose to smoke there...'"
I understand your views on smoking there upthecats, this is why I hate standing behind the sticks at Cas, I've never come across so many smokers in a ground in recent years as the Cas fans. I guess it is something like the law is you are not allowed to smoke in any public indoor or covered area.
