| Great perfomance by the lads, some real guts and some real aggression in defence. But this clown shouldn't referee SL again. Knock on Marshall 1St try , not tapped central for 2nd, the sarginson incident a disgrace Wigan get the penalty. Head high given for a legal shoulder tackle then double movement for Powell try. The guy is a joke and cost us 2 points today.

| Only ourselves to blame for all that Wigan took. That penalty that Kirmond gave away, with about 3 to go on the last tackle, typified the lack of brain cell in some of our forwards. Very similar to Catalans yesterday dumb, dumb play. Tanginoa and Green were outstanding and I don't think either gave away a penalty or an error.
Broughs kicking was hopeless again. At 12-12 why not a drop instead of giving Marshall another 80 metre run on a plate. Escare is hot and cold but I wish we could keep him.
Steve Price was in the North Stand. Bet he went away pretty happy as regards both us and Wigan.
Thant you Leeds Rhinos BTW.

| The tap from the wrong place was an absolute shocker. Were not talking feet or inches, it was yards from the correct place.
EVERY side has been pulled up for up for this so many times but WTF happened this afternoon. Disgraceful and it was the game breaker.
Penalties around the ruck seemed to be reffed totally differently as well.
We're supposed to have clamped down on moving from the mark but, today, not at all.
Wigan were rolling a couple of yards after the completed tackle, leaving the markers where the ball should have been played.

Said the same Wollo regarding the drop, but hey ho. We coughed up 8 points with the lad from Halifax, names gone still out on him I’m afraid. Wigan were there for the taking today with better execution but certain players for me didn’t turn up.

| Lets see that tap on Sky tonight. Regardless of the restart, who's bright idea was it to get Hampshire competing against Hardacre and Marshall for high balls?

Moving off the mark was so blatant but how the heck is a defending player able to move away when the attacking player is moving into him.

Indeed and they gained 2 penalties for each of those 2 "infringements"
On a related note, I did enjoy Brough pointedly asking the ref if he was ok to tap the ball from the centre of our 20.
I wonder if the ref even knows that he made such a poor call, although we were horribly slow in getting back to defend the tap, which is a sham, as generally we defended for our lives, especially considering that we were 2 players down.

| Wakefield were about as naive as the ref.
We played right into their game plan

| Strange. I thought we were crap.
The ref didn't miss a tackle, drop the ball, kick badly, be offside, not square or turn his back on the opposition twice etc

| Chester isn't happy with the ref, interesting when the CEO has publicly said we need to respect the refs decision.

| Whenever anybody complains about a ref you get the usual guff about them not dropping the ball or missing a tackle blah blah blah. But watching the game live it looked like a double knock on for wigans first, the quick tap for their third was nowhere near the mark and the last try was a double move AND he made contact with his own player. Also after we got it back to 18-16 it was penalty after penalty to Wigan, some of which were dubious to say the least.

| How many players have we had injured/stretchered off against Wigan this season? Probably more than the amount of minutes Farrell spent onside today

Exactly. Same old faces threw that game away.
